The rim for a high end built up Cross Mountain wheelset. Wide enough to allow the use or large volume tyre, but reasonably light, XM 719 Disc answers all of the epic mountain biker's need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rider1 Great rim for some serious trails, could be slightly wider
I built these on to Hope Pro 2 evos with double butted spoke and DT swiss locking nipples and they have stayed perfectly tensioned and true for the past year. I use these for all day trail riding, but my local trails include fairly decent sized gap jumps, 4 - 5 ft drops etc and these have held up perfectly, even after 2 or 3 proper dodgy cases. I would perhaps like these to be a little wider to help tyre profile like the 521's, however in the trade off of width against weight I went with the lighter and so far so good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Dissapointing CRC
I just bought a pair of these from CRC. I have always used Mavic rims, they have always been strong and reliable. However, these were only what I could describe as seconds, or poor quality copies. They are going back to CRC.. as I feel ripped off!
Firstly the decals are the old style, not the revised type as in the picture. Also the side walls are poorly machined, leaving a razor sharp edge which had rubbed against the other rim in transit removing the black coating. They are definitely not worth the £42.99 each.
