The ADvantage is a high-volume, aggressive cross country tire that corners great on big side knobs. It also climbs and brakes with authority, thanks to the opposing parallelogram center tread design. Ramped center knobs keep rolling resistance minimal, and the wide lug spacing sheds mud easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great traction and fast on dry dirt.
I had a minion DH 2.35 on the back and an original felt tire on the front.
I ride mostly on dry dirt with some sand on the way, ater chaning the back to advantage 2.1 UST and moving the minion to the front, I have much more confidence in riding and do many things I did not dare before. I inflate it to 45-50 psi, so that it remains fast enough.

Just received this tyre just as the rain started to fall after long dry summer. xc trails here are full of roots and soon turn to mud, (west coast British Columbia). I run High Roller in front and this Advantage now on the back. After is first run I am sold. It was incredible the traction and control it provided. Climbing and rolling over roots made easy. Running tubless and can't wait to wear it out.

This tyre does everything great - good grip, mud shedding, excellent on climbs for traction at low pressure, but my two which have done around 1000km casings are so bad from day one! When spinning the tyre there is distortion in places of around 5mm. Its really that bad, so the balancing is shocking. Gonna stay away from Maxxis in the future.

I ride the High Roller in the front wheel, they are really good. I bought the Advantage Lust 2.1 for the rear and I only rode twice, I got a snake bite! I ride with 2 bar pressure...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Great tyre
I spent a long time testing different tyre combos out and this seems to be delivering the best results for me
In the Perth WA area this these have been great dry or wet. I generally run about 30psi tubeless, they hook up real nice on the climbs and inspire confidence on the downhill runs
