Bought this tyre for my Spark 950. Tired a load of other tyres but they had far too much drag especially on road sections of my local trails. I wanted something for the winter months to replace the rear Rocket Ron that I had.
At first glance I was worried as the tire looked a little unconvincing. I had read the reviews and thought I would try it none the less. I was really impressed and surprised by how much grip this tyre gives in the thick mud. It cuts straight through and just works. It also rolls really well and clears mud from the surface quickly. Not sure on durability yet as it's early days but a great winter tyre to compliment the HD I have on the front end.
The side walls are quite thin and light so you need to run at a high psi but apart from that it's a great buy for a 29er mud tyre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sixstringpilot Simply the best 29er rubber on the market
Best rubber I have had on my 29er, fantastic grip. In deep mud it sinks through and finds grip, doesn't float like mud-x and rubber queen. Rolls very fast, easy to pedal uphill. low volume. Narrow tyre loses out on very steep grassy strips on breaking grip compared to wider tyres. Works well on slipper wet stuff.
Easy to setup tubeless

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rondar Very good control in mud, offroad and road
Today i did some serious offroading with this tyre. As it is designed for wet and muddy conditions i got into every deep mud i could go in. All i can say is that this tyre gives you really good control in the mud. Or at least if you are an amateur like me. On the way to offroad track i did about 40kms on road as well and even on high speed curves never had any control problems. It does some noise on road tho. Picture below is taken on the midway of offroad course. Front sis Beaver and rear is Beaver XC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lawchef unreal grip and stability in bad conditions
I got the wire bead version after my mate got the folding and raved how good it was... i'm not such a weight tart so the cheaper wire version was for me.
Wow what a change in how my bike rode in the mega muddy trails of white ways... they seem to find grip from nothing and even if things get a bit sketchy and they lose grip its only for a split second till they find some.
Cant comment on lifespan but with the soft compound I reckon its a set a season which to be honest I can deal with as they are this good.
get them... you wont be disappointed.
