Specially designed for racing in adverse conditions, the Beaver features a tread design ideal for wet and muddy conditions. The dual compound tread utilizes a hard base layer to reduce rolling resistance and provide knob support, while the siped, softer outer layer provides unparalleled grip on wet rocks and roots. The Beaver is one aquatic-friendly animal of a tyre!
Maxxis Beaver XC Tyre Features:

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stedlocks Superb Gloop tyre!
This is exactly the tyre you want, for when the going gets muddy.......I put 29x2.0's on my hardtail, for winter duties....... They are magnificent in the mud, and are a doddle to set up tubeless, even with the wire bead. The only negative thing about them, is when they are on Tarmac, or very firm ground.....but then again, they're not meant for that!

Купил пару данных покрышек на дерт байк для зимнего сезона. Держат отлично.Довольно легкие.Протектор не супер-жесткий,но и не пластилин.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jawstress Don't try to run tubless
I have never had a problem running a tyre tubeless - UST specific or otherwise - but these are the absolute worst. I must have wasted half a day and £10 worth of CO2 cartridges on them, and I still had to go back to tubes. I know they are not *supposed* to be run tubeless but I've never experienced problems with any other tyres.
Other than that, they are a great tyre. I run this on the front and a nobbly nic on the rear.
