Rated 5 out of 5 by great tyre like all maxxis Have to say I totally disagree with other review I have used detonators. Re fuse and colombiere before these and they roll well. Keep at 130psi and I have no problems on Dt swiss or Mavic. Perhaps Plx Wheelset? Dont know...maybe faulty bead as I have a few pairs and they are no problem. Would highly reccomend for training and racing. 27 March 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by A seriously dangerous product! Just after submitting a very complementary review of CRC and it's services, I bought a pair of these tyres for my son to compete in the Althorp (CRC sponsored) ITU qualifying duathlon. I now understand why they were half price. Despite repeated attempts, it proved impossible to securely seat them on a pair of Planet X carbon clinchers and at 80 psi the tyre bead could literally be seen creeping off the rim! Only quick reactions to deflate the tyre saved an inner tube from ruin. The consequence of racing at this level of competition with the tyres inflated to the rated 130 psi does not bear thinking about. He had no choice but to race on a pair of worn Continental Grand Prix 4000S that seat on the rim ... first time and every time. These tyres have no place on ANY bike and will going back. 03 March 2013
