Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by good road tyre saddened by the quality of my last michelin tyres I decided to give these a go - I am happy with my off road maxxis, and my vanity prevents me from putting super skinny tyres on my bike when I use it for work in the week. i have a pair of 26x1.5s, easy to get on and off, unlike my off road tyres. Some 3 months on and these are wearing well, I've only had one puncture so far which is pretty unusual for daily city riding. Grip is good on dry days and better than I expected in the downpours we seem to have had when I bought them, not lost traction yet unless I intended to. Gets the back wheel in the air no problem. Most road tyres last me about 8 months, these look like they'll meet my expectations, and I reckon it'll be another pair of detonators. 23 July 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wears quickly Have been using this tire for commuting (135km/week). No punctures and handling is fine but after around 500km I'm seeing clear signs of wear on the rear. I doubt I will get much more than 1,200 to 1,500km out of it before having to replace. I pump the tires to 90psi pressure and I weigh 95kg. I'm riding on paved roads only. 09 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great road tyre for mtb this is a very good tyre, I ve had it for over a year now and only had few flats in London, if you want to make your mtb faster this is the one to go for. a good all round tyre, 100% happy!! Maxxis quality!! 03 April 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Silkworm protection - фикция Эти покрышки стали последней каплей, чтобы разочароваться в Максисах окончательно.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excelent city tyre for MTB I use wired 26" x 1.5'. This tyres add +5 km/h to avarage speed. In rain & wet weather on speed up to 23 km/h you will stay dry and only on higher speed drops of water will fly on you. XC bike looks very funny on this tyres! :) 02 October 2013

Answer:
You should be able to use these with a tubeless kit. you can use the folding or wire bead but I normally go for the wire bead version as a little extra stiffness to the wheel.

All tyres on our website are sold individually (unless clearly stated otherwise).

These tyres are not sold as a pair and must be purchased separately.

Answer:
A 19mm rim is suggested for 1.5 - 2.3" tires; a 1.25" may be ok but using a narrow tire increases the risk of pinch flats and rim damage from trail-side hazards. Personally, I would err on the side of caution and stick with the 1.5" version of this tire.
