Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tyre! For less than £20, inc delivery, what more do you want, or need, from a tyre of this type. These came as original factory fit on my Cannondale Bad Boy a few years ago and have proved to be a good solid tyre for day-to-day commuting and recreational use. The tyres have covered just under 3,500 miles and still have more than half the tread still left on them, so no issue there. Yes, they have suffered from punctures in that time - 4 rears, 1 front - but all were from large pieces of glass, and one large thorn, that would have beat most tyres so I’m happy with the performance in that respect too. Removal and re-fitted is nice and easy but take a little care when seating the beads - with my wheels I find that they sometimes need a bit of help to drop into place as you inflate them. Get it wrong and you’ll soon know when you spin the wheel, it’ll spin oval! The only reason I’ve had to buy a new tyre is due to riding over a broken bottle that put a 3/4 inch gash in the casing. Can’t blame the tyre for that, just the idiots that like to smash bottles on our local cycle path, and me for not paying attention when riding into the low, early morning sun. Should have used the dark lenses in my glasses I guess, not the orange ones! 07 April 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Detonate they do! I would not use these without puncture protection. Although lightweight and fast rolling, they are very prone to punctures, which nulifies anything good about this tyre; you don't travel very fast if you need to constantly change punctured tubes. The only reason that I used these tyres are that they came with the bike. I would not buy this tyre. 25 January 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great tyres 1.5" Amazing tyres,Really thought for city, paved roads, and good condition trails and paths.Grip,cornering,stability,speed. Accidently,I check it out across regular condition and stoned paths, mud,wet however,it was a ride over acceptable speed and enough security. I didn´t believe that these tyres(for size and early slick component)were too reliable. Totally recommended! 26 November 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bloody brilliant on the road I have had these tires since 2010. can't remember what month. Haha. This tires are awesome. On roads or pavements, these will grip, grip and grip. Even in the wet! i've done quite a lot with these tires. street riding. unpaved roads. trails. Abused them actually. however, i found these tires puncture easily. so if you wanna get these, do be prepared. 23 July 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome tyres have these for a season now. Very pleased with. They are amongst the lightest for 1.25". As well folding they are very small and very easy to put on and take off the rim. What else you need? Oh yeah they are quite tough as no actual usage after over 1000Km 26 April 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just about to replace these on my commuter bike. Having had them on for nearly two years and covering 10,000miles they are a brilliant tyre for the money. Although they probably should of been replaced at 6/7k I've just kept them running with few splits or holes in the rubber. They do pick up the odd puncture but are very easy to get on and off (never need levers to get them back on again). I only run them at 60/65 psi to cope with these awful london roads. 07 February 2011
