Maxxis High Roller II EXO XC

An open and aggressive tread design gives the Maxxis High Roller XC II EXO, excellent soil penetration and mud-clearing ability. A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs. Modified knobs on the shoulder and center improve braking performance and traction on hard surfaces. An excellent choice for technical, freeride terrain.

Maxxis High Roller XC II EXO features:

  • M325P
  • Open tread design
  • Improved braking and traction
  • 3C Maxx Terra available
  • EXO, 3C maxx terra

Maxxis High Roller XC II EXO Technologies:

  • EXO - An extremely cut-resistant and abrasionresistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
  • 3C maxx terra - An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C Maxx Terra is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than Maxx Grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grippy. Bombproof. Massive grip. Rolls ok. Bombproof. Lean it over and smile. 17 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by brilliant! best tyre ive ever used. brilliant. simple as that! 23 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sticky, no loose feel between center and edge. I ran a standard high roller front and back last year all summer long. 42a up front and 60a out back. They gripped well, cleaned well but felt a little vague once you were between the center knobs and the side knobs. In tight twisty flickable singletrack you sometimes felt like you spent the entire ride in the vague zone. They've fixed that now with the new more open tread pattern and the siped knobs. It feels more positive across a wider range of contact angles and it inspires confidence in twisty singletrack. A great tyre- better. 23 January 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by some of the best? OK trying these out on my new built bike, first impressions; Very good holding a line in mud Excellent tread clearing Good traction in mud and on wet rocks and roots, Front tyre performed very well on a 3 hour ride Rear did skip about a little,,,,but,,,,this is probably down to my rear suspension needing a few tweaks 11 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfecta cubierta para Trail 26x2.30 Exo TR Perfecta como cubierta delantera para todo uso 27 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by best allrounder on the market If you only ever buy one tyre and your riding consists of more than just just trail centre hardpack, then this is the only tyre you will ever need. Grips on EVERYTHING! Wet slippery roots, muddy switchbacks, dusty dry trails. It handles them all. Utterly confidence inspiring, really makes you drive harder and go faster. I used to think the muddy Mary was the ultimate all rounder but this takes the crown now. Its like the old high roller but is alot more progressive when leaning it over(no more sketchy moment) it has its knobs spaced wider apart too so clears mud better than most tyres out there, but on really heavy mud it will still pack up eventually. Buy it, put it on and forget about it. Best tyre I've ever used. 26 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Came with new bike and I'm amazed how much grip they have while rolling very good. Very expensive but I can't see me buying anything else. Massive improvement over the old high roller /minion combo on my old bike. Biggest improvement I found is on wet slippery rock and roots were the old version would slip these just stick some how. Tested in the lakes in horrible wet and wild conditions. Running mine tubeless and managed to get them seated with just a track pump which I couldn't with my old single ply minion/high roller 17 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant tyre Just changed my Nobby Nic for a Roller II and wet day at Dalby. Tyre was awesome front end never slipped away 11 September 2012
