Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Feel & Confidence Just bought these and done a couple of runs, had been running 2.4 conti mountain kings and had always favoured wider tyres for grip. These are amazing, really really impressed, i nearly never leave reviews but these roll fast, stick the best in corners and have really amazed me just how good a 2.1 tyre can be. really happy with purchase. I use for XC. 05 July 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Believe the other reviews, these things really do the business. I was running these 15-20 psi harder than I would normally run anything and they still refused to skip. Rocks, wet routes or gravel? These things just hook up. I would say the side walls are just perfect and pinch flats should be no problem at all as long as our running the correct pressure. Any weight -weenies will prefer a folding version as these are wired and so a bit heavier but for the money and performance, a bargain. BUY!!!! 17 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ignore all the people talking rubbish about how they do not perform well. I have found these tyres to be great, especially for the price. I ride a variety of terrain from boggy moorland to rooty forest trails and rock chutes. Obviously a mud tyre would out perform them in the boggy moorland but if you want a tyre you can leave on all year for any conditions this is what you want! I normally have to ride about 5 miles to any trails on the road and they have low rolling resistance. They are predictable and a well balanced compound which really boosts confidence. I do recommend when using it as rear tyre to put it on backwards, so you get better bite in wet conditions. So thank you again Maxxis, great tyre! 16 July 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent tire I wouldn't ever think of buying again. I used to have Bontrager LT3 on back and front(no grip at all) the diferance was huge, great grip in turns and digs into the dirt. Buy this tire! price about $80. 03 January 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I replaced orginal tyres in my girlfiend bicycle to MAXXIS Ignitor, it's a cheap no suspension leisure bike. And is very big difference, good grip, smooth ride, better comfort. Great value for money. If you have cheap 'orginally fitted' tyres don't think twice, just buy MAXXIS Ignitor. You will be feel like on new bike.... And looks good. 23 September 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ride this tyres for two seasons. Very good any time, on forest roads in summer and even snowy winter (in reasonable limits). Light, durable, but some noisy on a solid surface (as they have to be). Strongly recomended. 16 February 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by this tyre is certainly good for xc usage. HOWEVER, if u are looking for a tyre for downhill or jumping this is not a good choice. after a while i started jumping on this tyre and i went bald and all the bumps were gone. 19 December 2010
