The TT works on a vast number of terrains and conditions, which is why it’s the favored tread of many of our pro riders. The TT hooks up well because each small, square lug in the tread pattern is ramped to roll easily, yet tightly spaced so more knobs are making contact with the ground. Thus, the contact patch is effective on a wide variety of surfaces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Codyt4 good tire
I really like this tire, they just wear quickly. Good grip when the tire is new though

Rated 5 out of 5 by Haskell

Rated 4 out of 5 by Void2013 Good rolling tyres, bad for punctures
These are good tyres, they give a good amount of grip through the corners they feel stable they run smoothly and they roll on well, there only downside is they puncture way to easy, I had 2 punctures on both the front and rear tyre within a week of putting them on my bike,
There good quality and worth the money but they just puncture to easy

Rated 4 out of 5 by DanP great tyre shame about the sidewalls
really liked riding this tyre and much grippier in wet conditions than expected after other reviews.
Side walls didn't last. Tread still looked great but sidewalls gave in.
Still brought another one though.
Running the single ply 60a but on a HT so not trying to DH on them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mountaindude At its best in the dry
Also available in UST version. Great low rolling resistance and usual Maxxis quality, but it is slippy in wet conditions or in mud, which we get a lot of in the UK! Recommended for use in dry conditions where it is fast and grips well though the corners. It's relatively lightweight too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by korgy great tyre for the summer!
i have the 2.35 dual compound 60a version and i ride it as a rear tyre for 4 continuous months in Greece's thirsty hardpacked trails and DH rides.
Filthy grip up/downhill
I ride it at 22-24 psi ( i am 97 kg +4 backpack etc) and no snakebites or blows!
Not recomended for wet terrain!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by trevelyanish great tyre, low rolling resistance.
Got the 2.35 version. Its a big tyre! rides a lot higher than my 2.35 maxxis ignitor.
recommend it particularly as a rear. can lack a bit of cornering grip on my local trails. But on the back its fast and grips well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Just bought this tyre set and I'm very very disappointed! I bought 2.35 tyres and when I put them on my wheels, they measure less than 2" in width. WTF Maxxis!!! Seriously. If it's 2.35 it should be THAT then, not 2. They are also extremely tall tyres and with VERY STRANGE. There goes $80 down the drain.
