Rated 4 out of 5 by Canadian CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE
Bought these (2.0 wire) even after I read a few unfavorable reviews.
Just couldn't say no to the price.
These went on my 1995 Giant Rincon that is in excellent unrestored condition.
This bike will get very limited use and no "real" trail riding.
So when they showed up I knew that they would suit my purpose.
Installed easily without tools.
But, like others have mentioned, if you are going to do any serious trail riding, get some other tire. They even look too soft, that if you hit any stone with edges there might be problems.
They do look good and roll down the bike paths fine...and that's about it. They might serve as a cheap commuter tire

Way too thin for rocky or flinty surfaces. Getting fed up with the constant stream of punctures. Previous XC tyres (used in summer) are much thicker and, while they may be heavier, I have never had a puncture on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tsquare Fantastic value, great for casual hiking rides.
Most of you reading this is attracted by the low price, so many will be asking: is it too good to be true? Yes if you are looking for a cheap tyres for casual rides over not-too-hardcore tracks.
The tyres are fatter and thicker than my stock tyres from Scotts, making it really comfortable with a lot of cushion. It is a directional tyre so you have to make sure to have it installed correctly.
The design shows that it is more for mild off road ride, so this is most ideal for those going tracking in your flat & gentle pathway around the outback.
Basically it is for those who are not too serious MTBikers

buona tenuta sia su terra battuta che nel fango un pò meno su asfalto. Gomma economica dal buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

very impressed with these tyres under a tenner, have only tested in dry but worked very well in sand and soft earth, have not tested in wet/mud, lightweight and nice soft sidewalls, will buy more to keep for spares.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous i got these tire from when i brought my bike. They roll great on the road and are grippy on grass. but when on anything loose they are terrible and hard to handle also when on anything wet. i would recomend them due to the price but would also get about 3 inner tubes because they are the worst tires i have known at getting punchures.

Wire beads (formed by a thin steel wire) are old school. They are much hard to bend or fold. They're also heavier, being steel.
The folding beads are usually made of Kevlar and obviously, can be folded - maybe to store in your backpack or storage area. This also makes them flat and not in the rounded shape of a tire. This can make fitting a little more time consuming. They're lighter, so if you're trying to save weight then these would be the go.
