Bought these the other day having been riding Michelin speedium 25c tyres.
I'd been happy on the wider tyres as there kinder on the butt on potholed
roads in our area. Stuck in 100psi as i never go over that for pucnture reasons,
and i flew along on these.I did the boudicca sportive in norfolk yesterday which included lots of different surfaces with mud & gravel plastered on it and a few puddles. I've not ridden them in a downpour, but for the price they are superb value.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Not enough grip
Yes they wear pretty well, but the trade off is lack of grip. I never felt secure cornering on these, especially if damp. Braking was also poor.
Going up hills I was often slipping the rear wheel under pedalling pressure when the road was damp. They never felt safe so I have dumped them early.
I changed to Continental types, 4000s and 4 seasons, yes they cost more but the difference is incredible. Great cornering and grip under load up hills or braking.

A cheap and light folding tyre with a long lifetime, about 5500 km in one case. Used only in dry semi dry conditions.

Used the 25mm version of these tyres for 1 month - circa 500 miles and suffered 4 punctures. Binned these and got some Gatorskins - 1 puncture in 4000 miles.
