Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tires, but don't use them in the rain. I have these tires on my MTB that I use to commute to work, and am very happy with them. The tire surface is smooth and doesn't resist rolling, but has some slight grooves on the sides so the grip in good in bow-street. About puncture resistance... I got a flat tire by passing over a small piece of glass. I don't know if other thin tires like these would have prevented it. Unfortunately I've had a few problems in the rain. I fell two times in a month by passing over metal sewer covers. This never happened to me with the old off-road tires. These are great tires for dry asphalt, not good for wet weather. 20 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Супер шины!
20 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 13 September 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent road tyre Awesome tyre for converting your mountain bike to road use with a way better ride quality than a road bike on the typical rough surface the roads in Australia have. Very low rolling resistance with the maximum rated pressure of 58 P.S.I. Light weight 635 grams for the 26x2.0. Excellent grip wet or dry on bitumen, and still good for gravel/dirt bike paths with the pressure lowered a bit. 26 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Impressive! I've been riding Maxxis Sphinx 1.95 and 2.1 on my GT Avalanche since purchase 9 months ago to and from the office, a 10km road trip. Brought the Michelins 26 x 2.0's and I am very impressed! Just about silent on the road, minimal rolling resistance and able to absorb the poor Adelaide road surfaces with ease. Not tried in the wet yet... I'll have to wait for a few more month for some rain :-) Note though, the 2.0's measure at 1.9 though overall circumference is a 1mm or so larger than my Sphnix 1.95 and they are a little lighter too. Great tyre for a MTB used in the city! PS. CRC dispatched same day and I received them 4 days later! :-D 30 January 2013

Answer:
Although it is technically possible in some cases, it is not recommended to run a standard tyre like this on a UST rim. It is easier to run a standard tyre on a standard rim with a tubeless conversion kit; you should only use UST (Tubeless Specific) tyres with a UST rim.
