I bought a pair of these in 25s to ride the Paris/Roubaix sportive last spring. 170km... 52km on pavé... should be a test of any tyre especially as I rode them on lowish pressures to try and absorb some of the bump. They didn't puncture and although I intended to swap them back for my Mavic 23's that came with my rims, I left them on. Since then they have continued to not puncture week in and week out. Numerous sportives over the summer including 600 km across France and up Ventoux. They are now happily commuting in central London and last night I got my first ever puncture at the rear 9 months after fitting. Getting it on and off the rim really wasn't any problem at all. These tires have easily done 5,000 km .... probably more and they roll really well. I'm a big fan of them in any conditions.

I was so happy when I bought these Endurance tyres as they were light and claimed puncture proof.
I swapped my proven Maxxis refuse to these ones as soon as I received them.
As I ride 50km on the same road every day of the year, I can definitely compare tyres.
What a deception when I had a 1cm cut on the side of my front tyre after only 2 weeks and 2 other punctures on the following week.
I went back to my Maxxis refuse that I know will last at least 8000k

Swapped to Endurance tyre on rear wheel for racing/fast training rides. Service Course wears quickly under my 92kg and the thread flats off with numerous cuts, especially if ridden in the wet. I've not noticed any discernible difference in handling or ride quality other than the tyre is wearing very well after 2000 miles with little sign of cutting or squaring off of the tread. Very pleased with this combination and would recommend for heavier riders as I've not experienced any punctures. I do ride mine at max pressure and not on good surfaces either as these do not seem to exist any more on British roads! Most road race circuits have their fair share of pot holes and road debris to ensure race tyres last nano seconds it seems. I should qualify this review by saying I do not use these as winter tyres.

I am now running Michelin Pro 4 Endurance 23c Michelin latex tubes. Then on my very first ride on them I hit a sunken drain at around 20mph the sound was horrible but my tyre tube and rim were unharmed to my amazement. Brilliant in every condition I have rode. Great at high speed, fast corners you name it. There was one guy on here that said they are not great in the wet. I disagree, dont you slow down in the wet? Regardless these are amazing tyres. There is only one issue and that is they are a bugger to fit (really tough side walls)

I don't understand how these tyres have a high average rating. As a training tyre I thought they were terrible. Usually with training tyres I only ever start to get punctures after about six months when the tyre is quite worn out, but with these I was getting punctures fairly regularly after only a few weeks use, when they weren't very worn out yet.
Overall I would say don't but these, and if you do, make sure you also have a good mini pump, as you'll be using it a lot. I'm going back to Maxxis Refuse tyres.

Ex rugby player at 102KG plus rucksack @ 10KG who commutes 100 to 150 miles a week in central Scotland. These tyres work for me not had a puncture in past 2 months, used to cut slash and puncture for fun. Don't need latex, rubber or the next great thing for in er tubes chuck them on pump them up and enjoy puncture free cycling on a tyre that works.

These tyres replaced my Schwalbe ultremo ZX, that are not designed for endurance, yet had lasted 2000 miles before being too cut to use. The name of the michelins is Pro 4 Endurance. Endurance??? Probably a trading standards issue using that name. 1600 miles and they are too cut to use. A performance race tyre outlasted these. Aside from this, it rolls reasonably well, is a little slower than the Ultremo as would be expected. Grip is fine and a little less than the Ultremo as would be expected. If you want longevity, I haven't found a tyre that beats Continental gatorskin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Hard wearing but slippery when wet?
I have had these tyres for a few months now and put a couple of hundred miles one them. I also own the Race version which I run it the summer and for racing which are excellent. These are very hard wearing without and flat spots and very few nicks. Considering that they have encountered all sorts of mud and stones thrown up by tractors I am impressed that they have faired so well. However, as we venture into the depths of winter and some particularly wet rides, I have found that the grip in the wet is not great, locking up on a few occasions and not inspiring huge confidence in the corners. In summary, I shall be taking these off for the winter but keeping them for my training rides in the summer.
