Rated 4 out of 5 by Really Good DH Tyre This tyre is a perfect choice if you want to train as well as run some local race. You can use it both front and rear, it's very predictable and grippy. Take note: the width it's 58mm If you want something to use just to race i suggest the new Wild Rock'r 2. 10 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great grip great grip for soft e medium terrain. good for hard t. but the later tooth are weak for a long time. hight rolling resistance great for down hill use 16 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gomme a pari livello delle blasonate Mescola morbidissima quindi molto grip. Carcassa resistentissima. Prezzo fantastico per chi spende poco e vuole tanto ! Le consiglio vivamente ! 28 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Good tire but choose your tube wisely Awesome for tubeless rims, but if you use them on standard rims with tubes, do not take big tubes like maxxis 2.5 to 2.7, you might snap it when you install the tire, you will have to choose like maxxis freeride tube, smaller, the tire says its 2.5 but it really look like a 2.35. 15 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by It's not 2.5. It's a 2.35! But pretty grippy There really grippy, I didn't notice any deference between switching from minions. My only issue is they are not 2.5 although it says they are, there more like a 2.35, also It's doesn't say on here but they are tubeless tyres(not easy to fit on the rim or take of) 01 February 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent DH tyre for soft/intermediate (perfect uk do it all) conditions. 2.5 Sizes up small! I have used Michelin tyres on and off for years. I was a massive fan of the old Comp 16 on which this is based. The compound of this new tyre is nice and soft, particularly the side knobbles. They do however last very well. Be aware that the 2.5 size up small, the equivalent of a 2.35 maxxis (minion) or a 2.25 Muddy Mary/Nobby Nic. This is the perfect size for my Alpine 160 but would want more volume on my DH rig. They are the same size as the old Comp 16 in a 2.2. They are not a small tyre by any means, just smaller than what most people want on their full DH bikes. For me this is a perfect Enduro/ aggressive do it all tyre-not limited by size to DH runs alone. For the money (£18.00) it's the best you'll get without a doubt. The grip is phenomenal and the quality is as good as it gets. In fact, I once snapped the steel bead on a comp 16, Michelin warranted the tyre even though it was well used. They didn't have any other DH tyres in stock (because this was when they were phasing out the comp range and bringing in the new 'R range) so they shipped two brand new MX tyres for my CR250 for free-now that's world class service! Buy them, you won't regret it. 13 January 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 IT IS NO REGULAR TYRES but TUBELESS ones Super hard to mount on 2.5 classic rims I cannot recommend them even if they are efficient as tyre because I fear running flat. It took me 20 min to mount rear wheel and I've got soapy water to help me out, no doubt one day, I will wank over my rim to get back home when stuck in the middle of the forrest CRC should tag correctly this item !!!!!!!!!!! 27 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best DH tyres on the market Bought these a couple weeks ago. First impression was that they were kinda narrow, the 2.5 michelin width is around the same as the 2.35 maxxis width. It doesn`t say on the title but these are tubeless ready, and they are hard to fit on the rim. On the trails they feel amazing. I tested them on rocky/dusty trails and was nothing but impressed. They hold on while bracking but they really stand out while cornering. Overall, these are excelent tyres and I really recomend them to agressive riders who like to turn at full throttle 09 December 2013
