Rated 5 out of 5 by best mtb slick been using these for years, best mtb slick out there, super fast , super light, good grip in dry , be careful in the wet. super tire at a good price. 22 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lightweight, easy to carry, good grip. Almost a road racing tyre, but with more ruggedness. 02 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by fast rolling put on my hardtail for winter training, pump them up hard and they roll as fast as a road bike, not much grip, very light, very thin 01 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by a bit too narrow I put these tires on my commuting mountain bike frame. The are very light and fast, and I mean really fast as in you do not need to pedal. I have a 44/11 front/back ratio and I do not need to change gears. Putting the tires on is not the easiest, but if you use your palms to slide it onto the rim it goes quite smoothly. The only minus I can say about these tires is that they are too (1.1 inch). I still prefer the sturdiness of my old Tioga city slickers 1.25 inch which could take some abuse. 31 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Muito bom Vale bem o valor pago pelo produto em comparação com pneus de igual segmento. 28 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great tyre with a fantastic look and feel! I love the Wild Run'R. Looks like I'm rolling on inner tubes! 15 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Una presa perfetta Hanno un grip a dir poco fenomenale non fá una piega se terreno accidentato. Consigliatissimo 08 January 2014

Do I need special tubes for this tyre? Or will my existing tubes work? Currently I am running 1.5 inch tyres.

Answer:
A tube for this range of inflation (26x1.1) will be fine to run with this tyre; however be aware that due to how narrow this tyre is, it is advisable to not run it on a rim any wider than 19mm.

A 17mm wide rim would be ideal and would give this tyre the profile it requires to perform as intended.

This tyre requires a tube capable of creating enough volume for the 1.1" width of this tyre.

A few options are listed below.

Answer:
No, sadly they wont. you need a 1.1" tube for these tyres. The ones below worked well for me. Be warned however, they puncture easily.

Answer:
This tyre should fit fine and if inflated to the correct psi there should be no issues.

A we do not stock Specialized products we cannot comment on a specific rim but the ETRTO ratings on both tyre and rim are compatible.
