Rated 3 out of 5 by TomJ Good looking, but cheap for a reason
I'll start by saying I've probably ridden around 150 miles on these and they've been good for such a cheap tyre but...
The first thing worth mentioning I had with these is the depth of the sidewall - no chance getting these on a bike with mudguards- not a problem for me.
After one puncture after the first 50 miles which I put down to the hedges around where I live getting cut I went on a few rides hassle free but today my rear went 5 miles in (to be fair it was a huge thorn) then 3 miles later the front went too - disappointing.
Next time I'll spend a bit more on better puncture resistance

To be helpful to the MTB'ers out there. The 26 x1 3/8" tyre will fit a 590mm rim (like on my old Raleigh Superbe) and not a (standard) MTB which has a 559mm rim. Hope that clears things up a bit.....

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Good price, poor tires
Bought these for my new touring build, but the tires didn't seat properly into my wheels, so I gave them to a friend. After around 200kms of loaded touring, the sidewall gave way on him. Was hoping these would be a great tire for a great price, but no go. I`ll stick with the Schwalbe Marathons for now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Sidewall blowout after 1500 km
I was happy with these tires until the sidewalls began to fail. The rear blew out completely, and upon inspection, the front was beginning to break down. Great price, but not much longevity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Classy in white.
Bought two pairs of 700c in white for my sky blue 70's Raleigh ladies racer and black Dawes Street Cruiser hybrid and they look and ride brilliant, the chromed wheels of the Raleigh and ot's white seat and cables are really set off and the fit is superb on them and also the alloys of the more modern (90's,,,,:)Dawes. Super packing and delivery speed from Chain Reaction as always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous World tours are longest wearing tyre I have ever used
27 inch tyres are becoming harder to source.
When my World tours wore down to the canvas after 5 years riding I tried to get replacements. Some really budget jobs were purchased while waiting for the order to come through. They lasted all of 2 months before the canvas showed through. I then tried some really expensive tyres from a reputable brand that have lasted me exactly one year. They have started to delaminate.
I want to get me another set of world tours. They far outlast anything else I can get and they suit my riding style. I commute about 200 km per week on a 30 year old road bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous A great cheap tyre
I bought a pair of these for my 27" wheeled roadie and they've been great. It's in between a very slick road tyre and a commuter tyre which is great because it's less likely to get punctures on rougher road surfaces. These were very easy to fit and very happy with them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Good up to a point
Ran a pair for two years and 2500mls with no problems. On last 4-day tour the front tyre sidewall went with a loud bang on a nice straight smooth road. Not a confidence booster!
