Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous

I've owned this chain guide for only 3 months, already the bearing on the lower guide had seized solid. Also- The top guide is ridiculously brittle. I didn't think I was anywhere even close to overtightening it, but sure enough- it cracked and fell apart... Not impressed.

Loved the idea of the lopes, super light and minimalist but the problem with chain oil, solvent/organic cleaners and even the grease from the jocky wheel eating into the plastic around the bolts has made me switch to E13. such a shame as its best chain device i have ever owned but fed up with plastic parts falling apart. Way too fragile.

I bought this chain device for my yeti dj 4x bike and it was super light and super smooth but after just two rides up my local bmx track the bottom roller had cometly sheered off i don't know if this was an instalation fault or a design fault but i was pretty gutted when it happend.
