The MG II S-Pro is the successor to the NC-17 MG I pedal. The task of increasing the load capacity of the bearing while minimizing the total weight was, however, perfectly realized with the NC-17 MG II, though just barely.
The new forged magnesium technology enables the reduction of the individual cross-sections, so continue the excellent stability is ensured at even more delicate look. Note also the low profile!
Material: forged magnesium
Profile: MG II with NC-17 logo
Stock: precision bearings

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Strong and grippy out of the box, broke a good chunk off one with a rock strike a month into owning them. Steadily loosing pins as well now and many are not replaceable. Not impressed for the price, will be trying nukeproof next

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Not tough enough
Broke a massive chunk out of left pedal on first ride with a moderate rock strike. Bought another set figuring I was just unlucky and now I'd have a spare pedal. Survived a few rides before ripping out two of the outer pins on striking a rock. Too bad the outer pins that are most likely to take hits are non-replaceable.
The pedals are light, high grip and free spinning though and would probably be great in a rock free environment. Just not tough enough to take AM riding around rocks.

let say, this ones are "Rambo in lightweight" last week bought, straight away tested in Wales Black mountains. I must say, grip is simply amazing ! I can only recommend to any one of you, go for it, absolute bargain !!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Dont't stand the test of time
I have had 2 pairs of these pedals, the first lasted about 12 months before the bearings failed. The second lasted just 4 months riding - I would have sent them back under warranty but I had been injured so just over a year from purchase. Like another reviewer I had problems with the end caps being so soft they round out trying to undo them. Also I can't find replacement bearings anywhere so basically disposable items. For the price I expect better durability.
Prior to failing they were brilliant!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous DMR V12 are slighty better
I have owned a pair of these for about 12 month now, used on average twice a week, very light, quite good grip (not as good as DMR v12 though), powder coated finish didn’t last too long, the socket screw that conceals the bearing rounded off when I tried to service them and they had their first quite hard impact recently and part of the body smashed off so need new pedals needed now, cant really complain though as I have used them regular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Bought these for my Cube Team Ltd after moaning about the cheapo pedals it comes with and fitting my 15 year old XTs for a while. What an eye opener!
They are marginally heavier than the XTs (about 40g for the pair) but feel so much more positive. Great grippy, solid feel, nice smooth bearings and look bling on the red and white Cube!
The XTs are going back on the winter bike :-)
