For much of night riding, the key to survival is not only seeing but also being seen, the CherryBomb addresses the latter. By incorporating a unique multi-directional collimator specifically designed for cycling, the CherryBomb maximizes visibility by dispersing light to the sides of the rider as well as to the rear, effectively eliminating blind spots to upcoming automobiles. To further rider safety and visibility, the CherryBomb employs a custom made, built in reflector which allows the rider to be night time visible even when the taillight is in the off position. Clip and bike mounts are included, for flexible mounting options.
Nite Rider Cherry Bomb Rear Light Features:
Half watt LED allows for up to 1 mile visibility
Multi-directional collimator designed for maximum rider visibility
Reflector insert allows rider visibility even when in the off mode
Clip and bike mount included for flexible mounting options
2 Different modes: Flash/Steady
2 x AAA Batteries included

Rated 5 out of 5 by calceta luz muy potente

Rated 3 out of 5 by HamishS Very bright but NOT waterproof
I've bought two of these. Have been impressed by their extreme brightness, which is dazzling even in daytime, and good battery life. Unfortunately each lasted about 6 months then died after exposure to moderately wet riding conditions, on the second occasion actually filling up with a lot of water. I will not be buying a third one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by adsW great light, useless mount.
the light is great, it's well made, it's bright, it's water proof, the button is a little odd, but it's easy to use with gloves.
The clamp is worse than useless, it's impossible to get tight enough to stop the light flopping down and pointing at the ground.
annoyingly, it's not that the mount is 'cheap' it's just a terrible design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Great light, let down by its mounting system
Bought a 1/2W version in June last year. Light given off is great, good on batteries.
I have a 50km round trip commute which I do on average 3 days a week.
Last week the mount fatigue cracked and failed. The light ended up hitting the tar at 40k/h. Light survived but unfortunately no longer useable without a mount.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous Bright but feels cheap
This light is really bright which is why I chose it. Sadly however the quality is nothing like my Nite Rider Minewt front light. The bracket is really cheap and will not fit my fairly standard 31.6mm seatpost as it is too small as is the seatstay clamp. The clip which can attach it to a saddle bag or rucksack doesn't feel very tough although has not broken yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Ace light
Seriously, this light is fantastic - cheap and bright. I've had mine for about a year and it's only had about 3 sets of batteries. The flashing mode is very attention grabbing, and the constant mode is guaranteed to burn people's retinas, which may or may not be a good thing. I hope it keeps them further away, and it certainly seems to.
For now, I'm not looking for any ch- ch- ch- changes.
