Rated 3 out of 5 by Average at Best The rim strips are not very good, they would not sit correctly in my mavic wheels, alot of leaking air from the valve. in the end i had to use stans rim strips to get the tyres to inflate. and they were both tubeless tyres. the sealant works well as im sure any sealant would. But i would go for stans in the future. Joe's didnt work well for me 23 April 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor product Kit was sold for 17-19mm wide rims. Mine are 17mm wide and the rime strip needed trimming by about 2mm. After about an hour per wheel of getting the rim strip to fit correctly the tyre sealed ok. Following the video is easy, but there's no close ups of the magic that seems to happen. Fluid is a pain to fill through the valve and clogs up the core of the valve making it hard to inflate. After two rides both tyres I did have failed at the valve on the rim strip. Hopefully I can get my money back. It's cheap for a reason..... Will be sticking to Stans from now on. 23 March 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Didnt work as well as they make out it does Got this for my 29er running racing ralph snakeskins. Was a mission to just get the rubber strip neatly onto the rims...even now it still hangs out like some ghetto tubeless system and its not like im running narrow rims. The solution took ages to seal up and still every now and again my tyres go flat...could be the tyres fault but they had 'tubeless ready' written all over them so i would have expected it to work far better. 17 March 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Simple solution for trouble free riding I have been riding a conversion with this kit for about 300 miles now with no problem. Using tubeless ready schwalbe tyres and DT Swiss rims it was tricky but ultimately successful to seat the tyres and inflate using a high volume track pump only, no compressor required although it would be significantly quicker with one. I recommend the soapy water method if you're doing this. The first couple of rides were spent going to the bike to find loss of pressure but a top up to 100ml rather than 60ml resolved this (using 26x2.25). I've heard the sound of the tyre sealing as it is punctured and come to find nothing more satisfying on the trail! I ride woodland single track and bridle way mainly with plenty of opportunity for puncture but nothing too likely to tear a large hole. I've also been able to run pressure as low as 28psi with no issue. I would definitely recommend this product as a cheap and reliable conversion to tubeless. 28 December 2013

Ideally a Schrader rim strip would be best used to ensure a tight seal. However the suggested rim strip is designed for use with a wide internal rim width (27mm - 34mm).
