You spoke, they listened. The Eccentric is a brand new bike created on demand from customers. NS had been receiving requests for a tough hardtail that would cover everything from light Freeride to true all-mountain riding. Many customers have been building up Surge frames to suit more pedal focused riding and numerous times they were asked to bring back a new, refreshed Society frame that was discontinued in 2009. So here it is - the Eccentric. The heart of the bike is a high-end cromoly frame (that will also be available in the aftermarket) built using Tange Eccentric tubes. It's designed around 650B wheels and a 142x12 hub. The weight of the frame is approximately 2.4kg which is light by any standards, but thanks to their in depth knowledge of steel frame constructions they know that it will also be strong enough to take a lot of abuse. The complete bike is fitted with a selection of NS Bikes components, the new X-Fusion Sweep fork and a 2x10 Sram X5 drivetrain with X7 rear derailleur. With the reputation that NS has managed to build over the years - especially in the steel hardtail department - we are sure that this bike will be a success.
