Nukeproof Science pads have been tested over the last year by our riders, blind tested against other pads, and found to outperform everything else on the market. These are the best brake pads we've ever used.
Made in Japan, all feature a semi-metallic compound, tailored for different riding conditions. Trail pads are high quality pad for any rider, whatever the conditions throw at you. Enduro offer higher performance for riders that like to use their brakes hard and need more durability. DH pads are for high speed racers scrubbing off speed on a run needing power, consistence and control.
All pads feature steel backplates for heat dissipation.
DH: behaves like a Metal/Sintered brake pad
Enduro: behaves like a Semi-metallic brake pad
Trail: behaves like a Resin/Organic brake pad
Compatible with the following brakes:
Avid Elixir, SRAM XX, DB1, DB3, DB5 and SRAM X0

Rated 3 out of 5 Get SRAM
Have only had these on for few rides, and have found that they are no better than the SRAM pads and they are wearing very fast with bits of the pad coming away. I will be going back to the SRAM pads

Bought the DH set for front brake and Enduro set for rear brake. They fitted well and felt good on Elixir 7's with Hope Mono Saw rotors. Didn't take long to bed in. For the same money the Avid version lasts longer. But are still better then cheap versions.

Bought the "Enduro" ones for me and the GF. Both of us wore out our pads completely during one 90km race in rain. And I really mean they were completely worn out. One of them so much that there was almost nothing left of the metal spring..
Dont think I will try them again...

i tried these pads to see if the fact that they were twice the price of ones i had been using (Clarks) to see if they were better in any way. I am very disappointed, having covered less than 100miles of cross country they are worn throgh to the back plates and the braking was not as good as much cheeper ones either.. i will not be using Nukeproof again as they left me stranded with no brakes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Warren2013 Enduro pads - good stopping power but wear quickly in wet gritty conditions
Bought these to replace the stock Avids . The front rotor which doesn't see as much mud is still going pretty well but the back set has almost gone after less than 100km of riding .
Im 85kg on a XC bike so don't expect to run through pads so quickly
I won't buy the Enduro ones again . I might try the DH version.

The Enduro version of these pads are spot on for UK weather conditions, ive used them on both avid and formula brakes without any problems or fade

Rated 4 out of 5 by vailcycling Good winter pads
Got these as I was having problems with brake fade when riding at Davagh Red Trails. Rear brake was feeling none existant on quicker sections that required some heavy braking. I had replaced the original pads with Clarkes organic pads and initially they felt fine and a very gradual feeling when braking which was fine in the dry weather . The last month or so brake fade was getting worse so i was recommended these pads.
They are thicker than the other pads i have used so fitting and brake alignment need to be carried out with more accurracy if you don't want any rubbing on the disc.
However the braking once set up is incredible and feels very positive. I was able to adjust the lever out more and use less pressure and still achieved a confident powerful brake .
Tried them this week in the wet and they were just as strong so very happy with them .

These pads are available in 3 different compounds to suit a multitude of braking requirements. Nukeproof don’t list their pads as a “Sintered” or “Organic” Compound.
Nukeproof Avid Elixir Pad Compounds: Trail Pads: • Good initial bite. • Very short bed-in time. • Low noise • Enduro Pads: • Strong initial bit. • Fade resistant. • Low noise. • DH Pads: • High heat resistance. • Superior performance in wet and dry conditions. • Strong and consistent braking over wide range of speeds.
