Super-tough, smooth-spinning and rock-solid underfoot, the Nukeproof Electron pedals have been designed to offer a lightweight platform that isn’t going to break the bank.

Built using a nylon-reinforced composite material, the Electrons use sealed cartridge bearings to help spread the stress load from heavy impacts, while rubber lip seals between the axle end and pedal body reduce the ingress of water and dirt – which will keep them going for longer in between services.

Six replaceable and adjustable steel pins per side allow you to customise the level of grip to meet your own requirements. There are also two moulded pins on each side of the pedal for added grip.

Available in black, white and Nukeproof yellow, the Electron pedals tip the scales at just 338g for the pair.

Nukeproof Electron Flat Pedals Features:

  • Nylon-reinforced composite body
  • 6 replaceable and adjustable pins per side
  • Sealed cartridge bearings
  • New graphics for 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pedales perfectos Grip excelente, muy buena calidad y comodísimos, perfectos para DH y freeride 25 September 2014
24 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Good grip, nice size platform Nice light pedals, good size grip lugs, good size platform, not too thick. They went up in price by a few bucks a few days before I bought them... Still pretty good value but 24 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bulletproof I have hammered these pedals over the last 8 months and they still spin and function the same as the day I fitted them. They have a few gouges from rocks, but I honestly thought I had cracked them every time. The pins have gone a little rusty, but that's to be expected riding in all weather. They grip superbly and the platform size is just right. Also, the black plastic looks great even with scratches, my previous alloy pedals started to look pretty ratty with scratches all over the sides. I haven't even mentioned the price, but it is definitely right! The cost/weight/durability equation is perfect with these pedals, I won't be buying anything else in a hurry! 23 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Grips WOW !!! These pedals are very light weight and grip so much, can't imagine why people would buy the proton with more screws. these one already offer so many grips to your shoes that they feel like theres instant glue on the pedal. 19 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My take on my new Electrons These pedals are great! I get down to the basis and details with almost everything i get now to avoid problems and especially in the case of bike parts. My test consisted of 1/2 worn out rubber soles of van's shoes with compressed insole padding. Pedals gripped shoes great! and even with these paper thin shoe soles i didn't have a problem with the mentioned center pedal bar and it just felt like a flat pedal with weight distributed pretty evenly. Spikes were felt a little on foot but in a normal shoe would probly not be at all. The threads were smooth for install and my 15 mil pedal wrench worked fine for it. Rubber boot system is a bit funky in that after riding it leaves a very small gap where it meets pedal and shifts around a bit. A wider and thicker boot would solve this. Color is uniform in nylon composite for the flat black ones i have. I just barely started riding and testing them but if they stay like they are now, I think they are a great pedal with a nice size platform. 18 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Value for Money One of the good flat pedals in its price range. Been using this pedal for 6 months already and haven't encountered any problem. Just occasional scratches due to trail riding. 18 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 17 September 2014

Answer:
Yes you can use them. Mega exo stands for the bottom bracket type. Most cranks use 9/16 size like yours. One piece cranks the use on mostly single speed have 1/2 size. So you can safely buy them. Are good pedals for a good price. Can also adjust the pins to your preferences. Nice pedal.

About the dimensions

How do I relate the dimensions 98mm (w) x 95mm x 17mm? It seems 17mm is the thickness, but how about 98 x 95mm ? When looking an attached pedal from saddle POV, which one is the width (w)?

Answer:
Hello. You are right about the thickness. 17mm. The 98 and 95 are so far i can understand:
98 the width of the pedal over the axel\center. From where the composite begins to the end. Not from the crankarm, only the pedal.
95 is the body width everyhere but the center..
Hope this is somehow understandeble..

If you have a one peace crank it will not fit. They use 1\2" treaded bolts. They use them on cheaper bmx bikes. If its a 2 or 3 peace crank it fits. They use 9\16" threaded bolts. So be sure to check your crank. You could take off one pedal and mesure the bolt..

Wondering whether these will fit a standard Fixie? And also looking at these or the shimano saint pedals- the two are similarish in price - but wondering whether crc have a suggetion on which - providing both pedals fit. Looking for good grip wet or dry and aesthetics are important. I wear shimano mt23's whenever I ride my Fixie.
My bike is a white collossi Fixie.

Hope this helps - look forward to your answer

Both of these pedal models are fine to run on this bike. However be aware that the Shimano MT23 shoes are not necessary designed for Flat Pedals (although they will still work fine in most instances); they are intended for clipless SPD pedals.
