Super-tough, smooth-spinning and rock-solid underfoot, the Nukeproof Electron pedals have been designed to offer a lightweight platform that isn’t going to break the bank.

Built using a nylon-reinforced composite material, the Electrons use sealed cartridge bearings to help spread the stress load from heavy impacts, while rubber lip seals between the axle end and pedal body reduce the ingress of water and dirt – which will keep them going for longer in between services.

Six replaceable and adjustable steel pins per side allow you to customise the level of grip to meet your own requirements. There are also two moulded pins on each side of the pedal for added grip.

Available in black, white and Nukeproof yellow, the Electron pedals tip the scales at just 338g for the pair.

Nukeproof Electron Flat Pedals Features:

  • Nylon-reinforced composite body
  • 6 replaceable and adjustable pins per side
  • Sealed cartridge bearings
  • New graphics for 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by 21 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 20 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice the delivery was really fast so pleased with that part when i opened the box, was Evan more pleased really good quality for nuke proof peddles 18 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pins Rust within a Month The pedals look great and the grip is superb, however, the pins rust within a month and it makes the pedals look cheap. 14 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by 11 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 11 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product Excellent choise for me! I ride a dirt jumper with regular cheap running shoes, but I'm not really jumping with it. XC / MTB riding and streets/roads as well: commuting, transitions between trails and training. I learned to trust the pedals really quickly, and since then my riding has improved a lot, mainly due to good grip. The grip has guided me to practise more efficient pedalling yielding better speed on trails, easier rough sections and more energy efficient transitions on road. I think I haven't slipped off the pedals anymore! Earlier, before I got these, the shinpads were part of my regular clothing. I can't say they are now. Only for really difficult or special type of rides, where hazards are expected. I would still wear padding on BMX tracks or for jumping in general. The pins will bite, and I've had a minor scratch when lifting my bike outdoors, but in occasions like that I'm more afraid for my trousers than my legs :) I've done 1800 km with these now and have no complaints. I'm glad I bought the set of replacement pins, as I was expecting them snapping on rock hits. It turned out I lost three pins during the first weeks because I didn't pay attention to proper tightening and they got loose on the rides. Check them on regular basis! Only one pin has snapped so far, but I'm glad I have the spares - I can avoid extra shopping hassle. Still, missing a pin or two per side didn't seem to be a disaster for riding. Note: the two innermost pins on each side are not screws, but molded screw-look-alikes. I guess the inner edge doesn't really receive hits, and avoiding holes in the pedal makes it stronger. Those "fake pins" have been ok for me. 10 July 2014

Answer:
Yes you can use them. Mega exo stands for the bottom bracket type. Most cranks use 9/16 size like yours. One piece cranks the use on mostly single speed have 1/2 size. So you can safely buy them. Are good pedals for a good price. Can also adjust the pins to your preferences. Nice pedal.

Wondering whether these will fit a standard Fixie? And also looking at these or the shimano saint pedals- the two are similarish in price - but wondering whether crc have a suggetion on which - providing both pedals fit. Looking for good grip wet or dry and aesthetics are important. I wear shimano mt23's whenever I ride my Fixie.
My bike is a white collossi Fixie.

Hope this helps - look forward to your answer

Answer:
Both of these pedal models are fine to run on this bike. However be aware that the Shimano MT23 shoes are not necessary designed for Flat Pedals (although they will still work fine in most instances); they are intended for clipless SPD pedals.

Answer:
If you have a one peace crank it will not fit. They use 1\2" treaded bolts. They use them on cheaper bmx bikes. If its a 2 or 3 peace crank it fits. They use 9\16" threaded bolts. So be sure to check your crank. You could take off one pedal and mesure the bolt..
