Nukeproof Hayes HFX Pads

Nukeproof Science pads have been tested over the last year by our riders, blind tested against other pads, and found to outperform everything else on the market. These are the best brake pads we've ever used.

Made in Japan, all feature a semi-metallic compound, tailored for different riding conditions. Trail pads are high quality pad for any rider, whatever the conditions throw at you. Enduro offer higher performance for riders that like to use their brakes hard and need more durability. DH pads are for high speed racers scrubbing off speed on a run needing power, consistence and control.

All pads feature steel backplates for heat dissipation.

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by I Ordered Them Anyway Based on the other review, I guess it was a risky purchase. But I wanted something Nukeproof, and the yellow backing goes with my bikes colours. Yes I know that's not enough to rely on, to buy an item that is pretty important. I have way more experience with street, race and dirt motorcycles (used to work for a national wholesale supplier and have a ZL900 drag bike on nitrous) so I know my way around brake pads. I checked other reviews and they seem to go 50/50 so I got them. If they last long enough for me to set the brakes up and get some testing done, I will be happy. I will try them out pretty hard before I go flying down any mountain trail. They are a good price for DH pads and mine were so done that I couldn't tell who made them. Install easy enough. I will update on how they work out, once the bike is no longer a pile of parts. 14 December 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The worst I've used Bought two fresh pairs of Dh ones to take to the Alps with me and they didn't even last the first day. Friction was extremely poor and I couldn't rely on them at all. Had to buy some replacements in Morzine, which weren't cheap, but made all the difference for the rest of the week. 03 November 2010
