The Nukeproof Hope X2 Pads have been tested over the last year by our riders, blind tested against other pads, and found to outperform everything else on the market. These are the best brake pads we've ever used. Made in Japan, all feature a semi-metallic compound, tailored for different riding conditions. Trail pads are high quality pad for any rider, whatever the conditions throw at you. Enduro offer higher performance for riders that like to use their brakes hard and need more durability. DH pads are for high speed racers scrubbing off speed on a run needing power, consistence and control. All pads feature steel backplates for heat dissipation.
DH: behaves like a Metal/Sintered brake pad
Enduro: behaves like a Semi-metallic brake pad
Trail: behaves like a Resin/Organic brake pad
Compatible with the following brakes: Hope Tech X2, Mini X2 and Tech V2

Rated 1 out of 5 by Michiel Never again
First of all, I rode these enduro pads for 67km. The initial bite is not there, when you brake hard they will stop you. They make the most awful noise I ever heard, it sounds like metal on metal squealing. Then the heat. I did a few downhills (not really DH but more down the hill) and the rotors were pinging like whatever, while with other pads they won't. They were pinging like I just did a 1000hm- downhill and in my opinion pinging means the rotors are awful hot. I will sand the pads and brake them in, again, and will give them another shot but in one-and-a-halve-week I'll go Sud-Tirol and if they squeal again I will put Hope pads on them again. Too bad because the price is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous these pads are so much better than HOPE's own brand, they last way longer and are quieter too! i do alot of riding in Cwmcarn, Afan and Brechfa and these pads have not let me down yet!! great buy!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Bought a couple of pairs of these as they were cheaper than the Hope ones. Both lasted literally 1 single ride - usually XC stuff, couple of hours, bit of mud. One set wore completely leading to the metal spring getting chewed in the rotor.
I realise I had the 'trail' version but really, 2 hours?! Not impressed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Disappointed with these. Went through a pair of brand new 'trail' pads in a single 2 hour ride. Wet and muddy yes, but no downhill nonsense, just a very ordinary XC type ride. Will be trying another brand.
