Nukeproof M6 Ti Bolt

Nukeproof Titanium Bolts are manufactured from the highest certified grades of 6/4 Titanium to ensure quality and performance in use. Unlike other lower priced bolts on the market, Nukeproof Bolts come with an anti-shake compound added to the threads, to assist in them staying at the correct tension - but they should of course be tensioned to the correct torque as specified by the component manufacturer to avoid problems in use.

Nukeproof M6 Ti Bolt Features:

  • Made from certified 6/4 Titanium bar stock
  • Machined head, broached sockets, rolled threads.
  • Anti shake compound added for security.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by These bolts are 'OK' better than the M5's. NP state you should torque, but remove the smurf sh1t first as this will give you a false torque setting, use a bit of Loctite 242 which lubes the thread to achieve the correct torque spec. Tut-tut Nukeproof. 19 March 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! Other than the price for 1 bolt, these are great and they look good, real quality bolt here. Only thing is they sent me 1 bolt in a box about 30cm x 20cm x 5cm !!! what a waste of packaging!! 31 May 2011

Answer:
Its best to go for the Pulse bolt kit as the front shock bolt has a very specific head diameter for which the standard Ti Nukeproof bolts do not fit (need to be rounded on the lathe to sit flush).

Answer:
The Ti bolt does not fit the pitch thread of the Avid levers, also the bolt head is too large to sit in the lever. We would suggest you use the standard Avid lever bolt.

Answer:
The HTII cranks run a M6x19mm bolt so this 20mm Nukeproof bolt will fit fine, yes. The bolt head is very slightly larger than the Shimano bolts so it sits flush in the crank arm (which potentially looks neater anyway). You can also use the FSA MegaExo bolts linked below
