The Nukeproof Trail saddle is designed with long-distance mileage in mind, offering an increased level of padding over our Race perch to ensure minimum discomfort even after the most epic days in the hills.
Weighing in at a respectable 230g, the Trail is light enough for all but the most fanatical of gram-savers, with 275mm x 132mm dimensions suiting a wide range of rider shapes and sizes and making it an ideal saddle for all trail riding disciplines – DH, AM and XC.
We’ve designed the Trail with optimized width and shaping towards the rear to support your sit bones and promote soft-tissue circulation while seated and pedalling. Meanwhile a rounded back end means nothing for your clothing to snag on when technical descents require you to get out of the saddle and over the back wheel.
At the front, an elongated nose with ample padding allows easy movement and positional changes, such as when climbing in the seat.
The Trail saddle is built using our exclusive CrN Ti alloy rail compound for improved strength-to-weight ratio, and we’ve also made durability a key consideration – a tough two-piece Lorica cover with embossed graphics adds grip for wet and muddy conditions.
The Nukeproof Trail saddle features fresh new graphics for 2013.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark45L Super comfortable perch
Build quality is excellent, after a few minor adjustments perfect. Rode 30klms first time out and very impressed with the comfort. Due to the shape it affords a certain amount of positional changes which is what you want in a good quality saddle. So impressed i purchased a second one as a spare. Actual width is 142mm, not what it says on the website. 5 STARS!!!

Had this nearly 3 months, apart from a quick 3 mile commute for work the first ride was a 30+ miler round the red & black routes at Kirroughtree.
It was faultless, was incredibly comfy & didn't creak. Was bought to replace a broken Fizik Gobi which cost £90+. The padding & shape is spot on & the groove really does reduce the pressure on your undercarriage, no numb plums yet!
After almost 3 months & nearly 500 miles of daily riding & weekend epics, the Plasma Logo Trail has proved to be more comfortable & durable than the Fizik, the build quality is excellent & at £45 it is also excellent value.
Got it in white with black logos & it looks great, cleans up easily too. Will definitely buy another once this dies which will be a while yet, will it survive a nuclear blast? of course it will, it's Nukeproof!!
