The Nukeproof Proton series of pedals have been extensively engineered to offer the optimum balance of strength and fatigue resistance with minimum weight penalty.

The low-profile design offers maximum ground clearance and features a deep concave which allows the foot to “sit in” the pedal which improves grip and comfort. There are a total of 10 replaceable and adjustable pins per side to allow you to customize the level of grip to meet your own requirements.

Each pedal body spins on high quality DU bushings with two sealed cartridge bearings per pedal to help spread the stress loads from heavy impacts. Meanwhile a lip seal between the axle end and pedal body helps to reduce ingress of water and dirt prolonging pedal life between services.

Nukeproof Proton Flat Pedals Features:

Rated 5 out of 5 by Добротные педальки. Педали просто шикарные! Педаль широкая, шипы цепкие, стопа стоит уверенно. 13 July 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great build quality for the price but high friction. My only problem with this product is the high friction when turning the pedals. The pedals turn smoothly (i.e. no problem with bearings) but there is considerable friction to turn it. I reckon that energy is lost when pedaling due to this friction. My previous pedals could spin very easily meaning a flick of a finger and it would spin a few rounds. It's not what I expected from the nukeproof. However, the benefit to this is that the pedals stay in place when I lift my foot and so enables me to quickly place my foot back on the pedal at the same position. Other than the friction issue, the overall build quality of this product is fantastic. The graphics are superb too. I have yet to knock it into any rocks so can't say for its durability. The price is also great value for money - better than many higher priced product. This pedal would have been perfect if they addressed the friction (too much) issue. 08 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect These are the first nukerproof items i have ever owned, and they are absolutely amazing, after 600 miles of mud, sand, and salt they turn smooth as butter. so easy to put on, just remove the old petals (my old ones ball bearing blew up at 60 miles) and install these and you are good to go, my feet used to slip off my old petals and give me some pretty good scars on my shins, my feet have never slipped of these even when they are covered in mud or rain. its worth spending the extra cash for these petals over some cheap petals. you will not regret it, even after 600 miles. 03 July 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing pedals! I bought these for my mega tr as an upgrade from electrons, and wow what a difference, amazing grip even when you have a shoe full of wet mud, Really good pedal for the money 15 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent all round... I haven't been using these pedals for long however the quality can be seen as soon as you hold them. Light, strong, look good and super grippy all for an affordable price! 04 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good grip Good value for money compared to other pedals. After my NC 17 broke i went for bigger and more reliable cro-mo pedals. The Electron are also good ones. In hindsight i regret i didnt chose the blue ones instead of black, but thats not a con at all. Very good product for all that dont want to spend a fortune on flat pedals! 01 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Petal good price and good grip, some pins fall off easily 29 May 2014
