Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to install. Easy to install and was a great fit on my Trek Scratch. Almost half the price of the one I was going to buy. Looks the business. 01 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks great Like all nukeproof products, this looks great. I ended up getting the nukeproof 20mm spacer and nukeproof 760 wide bars to go with it. Easy to install. Come with the star fangled nut. I didn't realise this and bought one separately. Just as well, coz I messed up the install if the star nut and needed a spare. Now I have a star nut buried deep in the fork. I didn't want to bang it all the way through, so just left it there. 28 June 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by 3 months of use and the "sealed" bearing are caked with mud! As per heading, I am on my 3rd one of these headsets (I managed to get several at a bargain price from Chain Reaction). Each time its the same story, 3-4 moths in and my steering starts to stick, Upon closer inspection I find that the lover "sealed" bearing clogged with mud and sand! FYI, I ride in the tropical Singapore where the dirt is quite course. 10 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Didnt get to use Didnt get to use as my bikes headtube is odd in proportions so I had to go Hope Pick n mix in the end. But the headset looked quality and it was a shame it had to go back as my whole control finishin kit is Nukeproof which is great 14 May 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A little loose. Ordered and fitted this to my Vitus Escarpe to replace the original FSA Orbit. Unfortunately it had a couple of millimetres play and despite trying to rectify I ended up going back to FSA fittings and use Nukeproof bearings. Disappointing, since all other of my Nukeproof gear is A+! 13 May 2014

I thought I understood the headtube of my Banshee Spitfire V2 as being a 1.5 inch bottom cup and 1.125 inch top cup however the headsets I have around of those sizes are obviously too small to fit in the headtube. So, I am trying to find two different headsets that would allow me to use either a) a tapered steerer Revelaton RCT3 or b) a non tapered 1.125 steerer Revelation RLT in the Banshee. I think this Headset would allow me to use the tapered steerer... is that correct?
If not, could you point me in the direction of headsets that would allow me a) and b) above respectively. Thanks.

Answer:
The Banshee Spitfire V2 has internal headtube diameters of 44mm upper and 56mm lower.

This headset will fit the frame and allow use of a tapered steerer (1 1/8" - 1 1/2").

For use of a 1 1/8" straight steerer; the headset below is the recommended option.
