Manufactured from high grade 7075 aluminium and featuring a shot-peened finish to maximise fatigue resistance, Nukeproof Warhead Riser bars deliver buzz-taming comfort through the roughest of terrain while still maintaining the strength to absorb the toughest of spills and impacts.
Built for the rigours of DH competition but light enough for AM and technical trail use – just 298g for 760mm X 31.8mm model - the iconic Warhead Riser range is available in multiple sizes and configurations to suit individual rider preferences, physiologies and riding styles.
NEW for 2013 is the option of a super-oversize 35mm diameter clamp area for improved stiffness-to-weight ratio (31.8mm OS standard also available); while a 38mm high-rise option is aimed at taller riders or those who prefer a more upright position in combination with a low-stack headset setup (20mm/medium-rise standard also available).
A 9° back-sweep and 6° up-sweep ensures optimum ergonomics for long-term comfort, while for confident handling and precision steering through steep technical switchbacks we’ve made 760mm our ‘standard’ width (800mm option available for larger riders/ those who prefer the extra leverage provided by an ultra-wide bar). Still not satisfied? No problem – all Warhead Risers feature incremental markings to enable cutting down to your own preference.
Featuring all-new graphics for 2013 and available in black, silver or Nukeproof yellow finishes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Megadaz Excellent bars for the money
These bars are well worth the money. 760mm seems to be just right. Bars have a good finish and look good on the bike

Rated 5 out of 5 by NehalemX

Rated 5 out of 5 by Echowitch Excellent riser bars
I have these on two of my bikes now. My 29er hardtail, and my 26er full susser. The bars are light, strong, have great hard wearing graphics, and are at the perfect width for my broader than average shoulders. They inspire confidence :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patt Good bars. Recommended.
Got the highest rise ones of these. The width is good. Not too wide but enough to feel the extra benefits without hitting trees! Strength feels good but I did upgrade the stem as well as naturally wider bars increase the torque going through the stem. They haven't scratched at all. Even where the bats go into the stem. I got them on offer but even at full price I'd be happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous Having ruined a number of bars by buying wide and cutting them down too much, I finally decided that 760mm is the width for me and the Warheads don't disappoint. They are pretty much as expected for the price - not heavy but not light, better finish than £20 bars but not quite as good as some of the bling bars but by no means cheap looking. The graphics are quite striking I got the black bars and the white/yellow logos are visible from space. The shape is a fairly standard 9/6 back/upsweep which suits me fine my hands are inline with my forearms while riding. The 7075 aluminium is also quite nice it definitely feels better than 6000/2000 series

Handlebar rise is very rider specific and largely down to personal preference.
A higher rise bar will move rider weight further back over the back and will potentially increase control while in the air.
The main benefit to a higher rise is when descending steep declines; control will have a lower sensitivity, decreasing the chance of over steering or going 'over the bars'.
However control is relative to many other factors as well as the bars; running high travel will generally perform better with a lower rise and keep the rider in a more neutral position; especially whilst climbing.
