Oakley Crowbar MX Tear-Offs

When lapped riders kick up roost at Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart, these MX pros rely on Oakley’s laminated tearoff system. The most advanced tearoff system on the planet, it offers the highest possible level of visual clarity. The lamination process keeps dirt and mud from invading the lens layers. It also minimizes the performance-killing problem of refraction. That means you get the clearest, cleanest view of the course without optical distortion that makes your eyes lie to your brain. Each stack has seven tearoffs, and multiple stacks can be mounted simultaneously.

  • Gives you the clarity of sight to win your race
  • Helps eliminate lens glare
  • Multiple stacks can be mounted simultaneously

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product, works well Only problem was that it was slightly loose on the crowbar mx goggles 19 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Parfait Super produit, simple à "installer". On ne voit pas la différence avec ou sans, et tellement pratique pour voir à nouveau dans les situations critiques !!! 18 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Laminated are better value. I got a set of laminated tear-offs with the goggles. They worked great, protected the lens perfectly, came off smoothly and didn't affect the performance of the optics. They were also quick and easy to install. I'd give these 5 stars. When I needed a new set, I decided to give the slightly cheaper unlaminated version a go. In the interests of a balanced comparison, I installed seven - as many as a full laminated set. It took longer to install as each tear off had to be individually placed. The seal around the left and right sides was also poorer than the laminated tear-offs; I imagine the lens will be somewhat contaminated here. The tear-offs also made vision through the lens a bit darker. Some diffraction patterns also occued around the centre of the lens. I don't remember that happening with the laminated ones. Laminated tear-offs are a first class product with no compromises. Unlaminated, on the other hand, bring a lot of trade offs. These may be lessened by using fewer at a time, but laminated are much better value in my opinion. 27 June 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product. The laminated tear-offs are worth every penny. They work far better then the single tear-offs. 10 August 2009
