It started as a wish list from some of the world’s best mountain bikers. They wanted an MTB glove with lower weight and greater dexterity. We took up the challenge and utilized CAD/CAM engineering to combine the strength of Kevlar® and the moisture control of Clarino®. The resulting 3-D anatomical construction offers the flex and feel of true ergonomic design. For added protection, the little finger is jacketed in a mesh of Kevlar® padding. Critical finger zones are enhanced with a high-friction surface to maintain a sure grip. The pros got everything they wanted, including extras like a back strap to alleviate bunching in the palm, and even a nose wipe area on the thumb. Features: • Durability and supple feel of leather • Shielding of Kevlar® reinforced knuckles with padding for comfort • Moisture absorbing / fast-drying Clarino® on palm • Back strap to alleviate bunching in palm • Shielding of full Kevlar® padding on pinky finger • Sure grip of high-friction surface on critical finger zones • Adjustable cuff overlay • Nose wipe area on thumb Note: A correct fit is critical, so this glove will feel snug during the first hour of break-in as it precisely conforms to your hand. After break-in, no one else should wear the glove.

good gloves, i love the way they look, stitchin quality apeears good, velcro strap is nice and slim and tucks underneath the glove rather than above, which looks better and doesnt want to peal apart when your wrist flexes, very tough build which is great when you fall off but will take a good few rides to break in the material as they are a bit restrictive at first. however the grip is really nice, overall fantastic glove though

I bought these as they looked like exactly what I was looking for.
Being an urban cyclist, I do a little 'panel beating' on the side. The thought of wearing a strong comfortable glove with knuckle protection for when White Van Men get too close really appealed to me.
However, these are neither strong nor comfortable.
Wearing the gloves while covering the brakes, the edge of the knuckle protector can be felt through the glove against the tops of the fingers. Also, there is absolutely no padding whatsoever on the palm of the glove. I'm told that this is because they are designed for extreme off road/trail riding where feedback for the handlebars is essential. Make sense anyone? All I know is that I get small blisters wearing them. There is no absorbent material anywhere on the glove for wiping sweat from the brow etc. The palm material is incredibly thin and is already starting to show signs of wear. To add insult to injury, after just a few weeks of use the velcro has come away from the securing strap.
I'll be returning mine for a full refund and looking for something else to continue my panel beating with!

Ragazzi dopo neanche 4 uscite si sono scuciti tra il pollice e l'indice.
La parte del palmo è talmente delicata che solo per indossarli si sono strappati.
Guanti sicuramente belli esteticamente, ma non valgono i soldi che costano.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous Expensive, poorly made
Forget the hype you read on these - they are not well made and the thumb seams gave out on mine after less than a month of use. Protection is only as good as its weakest part, and if you want proper protection I suggest getting some off-road motorcycle gloves as they are usually made properly. Branded MTB gloves are just that - brands, and that's what pay for. CAD design doesn't make good gloves, so Oakley are using bull to snare you. Same goes for the expensive Dainese MTB gloves - useless.

Bought the gloves because I loved the look. great fit, great grip nd super permanence. However - went out in the rain and gloves performed well - after ride, took gloves off and they dried crumpled up - the leather shrunk - next time i tried to put it on, cloves were to small - shrunk 2 sizes and stitching tore. Expensive and only lasted 5 rides.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous Dreadful knuckle bar
When you firt put these gloves on, with an open hand, you may immediately find that the knuckle protector thing digs into the back of your hand, either side of the knuckle.
Now when you close your hand into a fist, they become quite comfortable.
So what were these gloves designed for? Are they really designed for mountain biking? Because with one finger on the brake lever, and the rest gripping the bars, they are quite uncomfortable indeed. With a serious whack to the knuckes while riding -- I think they would increase the likelyhood of a more serious injury to the knuckle of your index finger.

Bought a pair of these thinking that the Oakley name would be a guarantee of quality - big mistake. Literally, after 4 rides of a total 6 hours and the left glove has split between the thumb and palm. Binned them and got a pair of Endura Full Monty Glove. Much better gloves, half the price.
