I have been using this for riding to work and offroad trails for a while. I got it because I was using a monostrap backpack which kept moving too much. This stays rock solid while cycling and is comfortable too. It is quite heavy, but is very sturdy and has multiple protected compartments.
The sunglasses compartment, I have found, is very useful as a protective waterproof place for my phone while I am cycling using headphones, and the side pockets are excellent for my keys so I can get them out and put them away without having to take the backpack off.
One problem if you want to get a waterproof cover, I bought a Respro hump waterproof cover designed to fit 20 - 40 litre backpacks. despite this backpack being only 30 litres it doesn't really fit. I can force it in, but would recommend a larger cover to fit properly.
