The Gammas are extraordinary baggies with a ton of features that make riding as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are mostly made out of a weapons-grade oxford fabric which is light and tough but there are also some mesh and stretch panels so they fit properly but also move easily without having yards of material flapping in the breeze. The fit is athletic - pulling them on they kind of slot into place and they sit snugly on the hips and comfortably around the waist via a SPD-type ratchet buckle. The inside is lined with mesh, there's removable armour for the hips and there's also a small pocket in the yoke. In use the different fabrics allow complete freedom of movement without excess material they really are super-comfortable, feel great and never get in the way. The venting and mesh panelling works well so even on hot days the Gammas stay unobtrusive but they're also tough and protective enough to use on colder days. The styling won't be to everyone's tastes even in black they are seriously purposeful and not for shy retiring types. The side logos are injection-moulded and stitched on and there are another two 'O' logos behind the legs and one on the waist at the back. In terms of sizing unlike other One Industries kit they are not hugely big but be aware that the inseam is quite long - I'm 6'2" & 34" inside leg and when riding my XL Gammas sit just above the knees. A hidden bonus is that the Gammas also smell very good - if you've ever been in a motorcycle/MX shop that sells protective clothing you'll know what I mean.

Great set of MTB shorts, comfy, pocket at back for keys, hip padding............... i was really worried of paying so much on some shorts, but i can say it was well worth it.
