Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 20 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great stylish functional pack Looks and feels great with a large main compartment and smaller one with key pouch and a roll out tool pouch at the bottom zipped up in its own compartment. To save you emptying all your contents out to get to the 3 litre bladder it has its own totally separate compartment that zips all the way down onto the shoulder strap to secure the drinking tube, which is then we'll complemented by a magnetic securer for the bite valve on the chest strap clip. The only downside is the bladder itself, compared to other makes like hydrapak. It has a fairly rigid back and so cannot be turned inside out for easy cleaning and drying. The last remaining water becomes a chore to remove as it sits in the corners and if left for long starts to become stagnant. So you end up facing it down and repeatedly tipping it from side to side to try to tease the last drops out of the front facing filling hole. Also the large plastic cap that screws onto the filling hole is very easy to thread wrong which causes huge leaks even though it looks secure. If you get it wrong you can turn up to the trails with an empty bladder and the contents will now be sloshing around your car! 03 September 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best medium size pack on the market... Osprey have produced a pack that does everything so well - the Raptor 10 is that good!!! I tried so many packs on but in the end it came down to the Raptor 10 or Mule NV; the Raptor won me over as it just felt like a better fit, the pockets worked well and the bladder system works better than any other pack. You'll wonder why other companies don't have the magnetic clip as standard. Initially it feels a little weird on as you are used to your old pack - but within minutes I forgot it was on my back. The back system works well, you'll still sweat but feel less clammy. The tool pocket is a great feature that has enough room for the rain cover as well if you are not an OTT tool carrier. 02 September 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fit, enough room for tools and clothes Great hydration bag with enough room for tools (excellent little tool room under the bag, for air, tools and a hose) small room for keys, wallet and phone, a bigger room that will hold clean shirt and rain jacket. Love the bladder, that holds 3L, its stiff and will not change shape when you drink lile the Camel Bags do. 29 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good layout, comfortable and well thought out Good looking backpack with lots of little pockets all over the place. The 3 Litre resevoir should keep you going most of the day if you are out with mates. If you are doing an endure event, carry a bottle and bottle cage to top up! > The delivery tube clicks onto a magnet on the chest strap which is a great idea. > The bladder has a hard back to it which some people might find uncomfortable. > The thought that has been put into the pockets is superb - fits all the stuff you normally need to take. > There is a helmet retention bungee that works so well it makes you wonder what others haven't thought of it. > I had a Camelbak NV-MULE before and the Raptor 10 seems to fit more into it. > There is a tool roll in the base of the backpack - what a delight - all my track tools in one place and organised. > However - this also means they are more susceptible to water/mud hitting the base and therefore I put a plastic bag around the tool roll to make sure everything stays dry/clean. >There is no integrated rain cover - would have been nice to have one. > Zipped side pockets on waist belt make ideal place for gels and keys. >Thin and comfortable and good day sack. 22 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pack, but broke my top clip This backpack is great. Super quality materials, nice pockets for tools and other stuff. Love the stiff hydration bag, since it keeps its form even when filled just a little. Super comfortable to wear. The magnet that holds the hydration hose in place, is a bit to weak. Broke my top clip so be careful with it... 07 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Osprey Raptor 10 Hydration Pack Отличный рюкзак, мне очень нравится. Много отделений для всякой мелочи и инструмента, удобная спинка и питьевая система для длительных поездок. 06 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 04 March 2014

Wondering if this would be a good pack for 30KM + mountain runs with high elevation. Need to carry basic essentials and am wondering about bounce and sway for runners.

Answer:
I have one, but only do MTB. However, it does move around quite a bit, and the 'solid' rear of the reservoir may well be a problem if you are running I would have thought.

Answer:
I would probally go for the raptor 6 instead if you are planning a mountain running.
I have the raptor 10 and its ok for mountainbiking, it has lot of storage room for rain jacket, t-shirt and a thin long shirt. I havnt noticed any bounce or sway effect when biking, I can secure it well with chest, shoulder and hip straps.
So its all about how much you are thinking of carrying, mine is to big in the summer period.
