Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheap lock but not to be trusted for high security. Having owned this lock for about a year now I used it along with a Kryptonite D-Lock to lock my wheel's. I lost both the key's for it while my bike was locked to railing's. I had some small light duty bolt cropper's at home so went back, fetched them and they cut right through them. It seemed almost too easily! Once I got the lock off I broke off the plastic casing on the locking mechanism and it look's like if it were forced it would snap in two! Overall this lock is okay for locking your bike to quickly go into the shop's but I wouldn't trust it on it's own. 16 December 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good second lock. Quick speedy delivery, (just like i've come to expect from CRC) and lock was exactly as it said on the tin. Long enough to lock both front and back wheels, fairly thick for a cable, and looks of fairly good construction. I wouldn't advise using this as your main lock, but as a second lock to accompany a D-lock through the frame, works a treat in securing quick release wheels, seats, lids.. anything you can thread it through that you don't want nicked. Dust cover, smooth key action in the lock, and re-locks with a click just by putting the two ends together again, so no need to try and hold together the two parts and turn the key. Just click and go. 16 August 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by Useless Good length but left the bike locked outside the local waitrose one day and came back to find someone had cut straight through the cable, they must have been disturbed before actually taking the bike. When I got the lock home I found that I could get through it with just a stanley knife and cable cutters. Not recommended 09 February 2009
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a bad lock for the money I paid £5 for this a while back on CRC and am quite happy with it. The only down sides were the bracket that holds the lock on the bike wasn't that strong and gave up after 6 months or so (now wrap the lock round the handlebars). The keys are also a bit thin and I have already snapped 1!! I am sure there are better locks around for £9 but for £5 it wasn;t too bad. 06 November 2008
Rated 4 out of 5 by great good quick delivery time, came with three keys rather than two, clever little plastic thing that slides over the actual lock which stops it from rusting, long enough to go around both my wheels and frame. One of the quick release brackets is supposed to attach to seattube although it wouldnt fit my sepcialized hardrock sport, the other has a hole in it to hang it on a hook or whatever. overall useful bit of kit. Bargain as well! 29 January 2006
