Park Tool Chain Tool - CT3.2

A shop favorite updated to work on all chains including 1/8”, 3/16” single-speed chains and 5 to 11-speed 3/32" derailleur chains. Because of the tremendous force needed to remove chain pins, our Chain Tool is made from investment cast steel.

  • Fine thread and comfortable size for easy removal of even the toughest chain pins
  • Intended for both single-speed and derailleur type chains
  • Sliding shelf to accomodate any width chain

 Notes:

  • CT-3.2 will not peen Campagnolo® chain rivets (see CT-11).
  • The shelf fastener sizing is preset to allow easy adjustment from one width chain to another. Any attempt to lock the shelf in place will result in damage to the tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by What i always dreamed of Never again will I struggle with, snap and smash chain tools in frustration. This worked like a dream removing a really knackered chain and replacing with a new chain. Don't buy those rubbish small £15 jobs! spend an extra tenner. its worth it!! P>S this is bigger than pictured, therefore not for the pocket. more for the workshop. 03 June 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A home mech. must A home mechanic's must have. works effortlessly, having replaceable pin is a huge +++ if you do any work on your bike save yourself buying a lesser tool and get the right one the first time. 28 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only chain tool you need Work like a charm, from single speed to 10 speed. One chain tool that does it all. 28 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far so good Bought a dura ace chain and wanted to change it myself so decided to buy a chain break tool at the same time. Looked at lots of them and read a lot of reviews and noticed the general consensus was that on average the cheaper ones tended to let people down after a while. I was only looking for a workshop tool, not one I'd carry with me and so after a lot of reviewing decided I'll buy this one. It seems to be adequately strong and hasn't shown any signs of breaking or not doing what it is supposed to do. I've used it multiple times in the past two months and it's going well, occasionally I find it a little difficult putting the chain back together but that could be a user problem! Is obviously well built and strong, it's easy to use and I'd definitely recommend to others. 19 February 2014

Answer:
It doesn't weight much for a workshop tool, about 200g, size is about 150mm x 100mm, unless you are carrying a back pack, its too big for most saddlebags.

Answer:
It's not really the tool to be carrying with you, it's more of a workshop tool. It's too big to put in a seat bag and it's weighty. It's a great chain tool, but it's designed to be left at home.
