Park Tool Chain Tool - CT3.2

A shop favorite updated to work on all chains including 1/8”, 3/16” single-speed chains and 5 to 11-speed 3/32" derailleur chains. Because of the tremendous force needed to remove chain pins, our Chain Tool is made from investment cast steel.

  • Fine thread and comfortable size for easy removal of even the toughest chain pins
  • Intended for both single-speed and derailleur type chains
  • Sliding shelf to accomodate any width chain

 Notes:

  • CT-3.2 will not peen Campagnolo® chain rivets (see CT-11).
  • The shelf fastener sizing is preset to allow easy adjustment from one width chain to another. Any attempt to lock the shelf in place will result in damage to the tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by This tool makes chain installation very easy I wish I got this chain tool much earlier. My previous tool was a smaller Park model, and the difference between using each is vast. With the CT3.2 is much better; rivets go in and out very easily. 14 August 2014

Answer:
It doesn't weight much for a workshop tool, about 200g, size is about 150mm x 100mm, unless you are carrying a back pack, its too big for most saddlebags.

Answer:
It's not really the tool to be carrying with you, it's more of a workshop tool. It's too big to put in a seat bag and it's weighty. It's a great chain tool, but it's designed to be left at home.
