Rated 5 out of 5 by Supernice! You will not outlive this item :) Good quality, a bit pricy. 08 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 07 July 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best purchase to care for my new Pinarello This stand makes caring for your road rocket easy. I highly recommend Park Tools products for their durability and solid construction. The stand makes basic bike maintenance quicker and much easier so you will DO IT regularly which means your stead will perform better and push you to do the same. I bought the add-on tool tray which is also very handy; keeps everything close and within reach. 21 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Now Why Didn't I Get This Earlier? Perhaps like many, when I decided to get a work stand for my bike, I was contemplating very hard between the more economic PCS9 vs the updated PCS10 considering I needed the stand primary for cleaning my bike without having to carefully balance it, esp when cleaning and lubing the chain. The PCS9 would allow me to save quite a few dollars whereas the more expensive PCS10 had such great reviews. Both were noted to be great work stands. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and went for the PCS-10. Setting up was quite a challenge for me (coming from someone who is rather clumsy at being hands-on). After studying the diagrams and making sense of what each of the parts were for, the PCS10 was finally operationally ready for action. I was impressed how sturdy and durable the stand was. My foldie weighs about 12.5 kg. The clamp of the PCS10 was very easy to use. It was able to hold onto my bike and suddenly made cleaning so much easier! Glad I took the plunge to invest in an excellent work stand. Now cleaning and maintenance seemed more fun and less of a chore. After using the PCS10, the legs could be folded and kept for storage (though it is still not very compact). Overall, this was a great purchase investment, and I could foresee myself using the PCS10 in the many years to come. 18 May 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A must have for easy maintenance of your bike After doing my research (aka seeing a lot of 'Park' tools in professional workshops) I thought that there product line would probably be top notch. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I have not gone close to putting this thing through its paces, but what I have done is twist and turn my bike every way from Sunday and it is absolutely built solid and is up to pretty much anything you throw at it. The workmanship on the build is outstanding and you can't help but get a sense that this will be the only unit I purchase because it's going to outlive me. Definitely Recommended 13 May 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by tighteners thread to easily and black head piece plug gets stuck preventing rotation of bike the extension arm threaded itself on first tightening with not much force and had to have another shipped to me and then the black plug in the head piece sticks after every use preventing me from turning the bike upside down. Only way to fix this problem is to completely unscrew head piece and then nock the whole head piece on a wall until it comes loose. Very frustrating! 12 May 2014

Answer:
The adjustable clamp on this stand will comfortably hold any standard frame that falls within the parameters listed (tube diameters of 7/8" to 3" (24mm to 76mm)). The clamp uses a wind down mechanism so the amount of pressure can be set by the user.

Answer:
Yes. You use a little winding handle to tighten / loosen the clamp.
I use it on my carbon bike, but I just clamp to the top bar and not the seatpost. Mainly because it is easier to do so.

Answer:
I have a full carbon bike and carbon seat post and I am absolutely comfortably using this unit.

The clamp pressure is almost infinitely adjustable - as well as having a twist lock (ie turn clockwise to lock down) it also has a quick-lock that (once you have set correctly for your bike) can be used to quickly clamp down to your set pressure with a single press of the handle.

(sorry, that's harder to explain than I thought - I hope I made sense)

The clamp itself is dense rubber, certainly won't scratch or harm your precious gear.

Answer:
Yes the clamp pressure can be tailored to suit. The ideal thing about the work clamp, is that you set the QR lever to just grip your seat post when first loading your bike up. Once your post is in position and you've pulled the QR lever to grip the post, you can then give the lever a turn or two to increase the pressure for more grip. But crucially the right amount of grip.
This stand holds my fully built DH rig (Alloy frame) steady and level, no matter what task I'm carrying out. So on a full Carbon, it won't even break a sweat.
Taking the time to set the work clamp properly for whatever bike you have, is simple, quick and effective.
