I just can't believe why so many people post negative comments. This is a well made piece of kit. Okay, maybe Park has put a premium price on it - but they're a premium brand... and I've still got Park Tools that go back over 20 years! (I can't say that about many cheaper brands that have ultimately ended up proving to be a false economy.)
And to those who can't hear it 'click'... what???? Set your required torque... pull on the handle... and when you reach the required torque, the wrench will obviously 'jump' to indicate you've maxed out. Pretty simple really.
To sum up - a well-made tool that works well. Unless you want to play Russian roulette with your carbon-fibre frame and components, it's a decent buy.

I havnt actually broken anything (yet) but this has set my mind at rest for getting the correct torque dialed in for any more upgrades i add to my bike.. as we tent to upgrade with more costly parts it's great knowing that you are not going to brake it before you get chance to hit the trail with them on your bike.. 3-15 Newton Meter range is good for smaller parts i.e. stems, brakes, chain rings, derailiers etc. Quality is brilliant and the dial in torque makes it simple to get the correct torque even for a noobie home mechanic like myself.
After fitting new disc rotas, angle bolts and pads with hex keys i had a few problems with rubbing/scratching noise aswell as them not having a solid bite.
This tool settled that problem instantly! They are running smooth now with no sign of bite problems, and knowing they are at the correct torque gives me a little more confidence on the trails.

Title pretty much sums it up - it's a perfectly acceptable tool, but costs more than it should.
I'd also mark Park down for making it a smaller size (1/4) than their wrench for higher torques (which is 3/8) since there's no reason they couldn't have made them the same (except that they want to force you to buy two sets of bits...).
Personally, I'd look elsewhere to buy my own (avoiding the "bike tool" markup) as for this money you could get considerably better quality from Norbar (among others)... or you could get similar quality for quite a bit less money from Teng (among others).

I wanted a torque wrench and after reading reviews decided to go for a good one. BUT I don't recognise the noise that I THINK is telling me I've reached the setting as a 'click'. So until I can find a friendly mechanic who can confirm this it's no use to me 'coz I can't trust it. Conclusion: this Park Tool may be lots of things but idiot-proof it ain't...

Excellent piece of kit, solidly made from Park Tools, very accurate, from 0.2Nm other cheaper wrenches start @ 2Nm. I know it's expensive, but if you regulary maintain your bike, it could cost you more in damage from over/under tightening, not to mention other components broken if something fails mid trail. I know I have damaged components totalling more than the price of this wrench. Well worth it.

All torque wrenches should be periodically checked and recalibrated as required. There is no official answer to the recalibration interval, reason being that circumstances of use will vary widely and this will have a direct bearing on how long the torque wrench is likely to stay in calibration. the default period of use between recalibration is 5000 cycles or 12 months. If the torque wrench is subjected to an overload of 25% or more above the nominal maximum, it should then be recalibrated. For many, this might be the ultimate decider on how often your wrenches should be recalibrated (for some, it could be almost every time the wrench is used).
