Park Tool Torque Wrench 1/4"

Because torque specifications are now given for most parts and accessories, Park Tool offers this tough, accurate torque wrench. The TW-1/4 is 1/4" drive and ranges from 0-60 inch pounds with compatible metric equivalents. The TW-1/4 now includes an adapter the allows use of 3/8-inch drive bits. As torque requirements become more a part of everyday shop use, it is important for every mechanic.

  • A simple beam-style Torque wrench for bicycle mechanics
  • 0-60 inch pounds reading with metric equivalents
  • Required for accurate tightening of any bolt or nut
  • 1/4 inch square drive, with 3/8 inch adapter included
  • Weight: 14.8 ozs. / 0.42 kg

**Note: The TW-1/4 is intended for relatively light torques. For moderate to high torques use the TW-3/8.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it should Does what it should. Simple and accurate. Good alternative to the more expensive click type wrenches. 20 December 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Expensive but essential Bought one primarily for my motorbike as that uses some low-torque fittings as well - and obviously it's good for the mountain bike, too. The only downer on it is its expense - for what it is they shouldn't really cost more than, say, £20. But if you need one, you need one. But it works well. 03 July 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Low tech but functional This works well. Note that the scale _is_ in Nm and lbs, unlike one reviewer states. It may not be as convenient to use as a racquet wrench, but you never have to calibrate this tool. Well made (USA), should last a lifetime. 26 January 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by nice tool............ but, the metric scale isn't in Nm, but kgcm. It would be nicer if it had a scale that you didn't have to convert. Personally, if I was going to buy a Torque wrench, I'd wait for the new Park TW-5; 3-15Nm wrench. As I said, nice tool if you can get used to the odd scale. 20 October 2008
