Used everywhere from the threads of hardware to the interface between mating components, grease has a tough job when it comes to bicycles. Choosing the correct grease is essential to protect key parts from corrosion and wear, provide high efficiency, and ensure it lasts between servicing in the extreme conditions bicycles encounter. Since cycling occurs outside, it is also important to consider the environmental impact of the grease you choose. Bio Grease is a biodegradable bicycle grease formulated to possess excellent oxidation stability, corrosion protection, anti-wear protection, and stability over a wide range of temperatures. Bio Grease is excellent for assembly tasks, great for threads, ensuring accurate torque and protecting against corrosion, and great for component interfaces, ensuring easy adjustment and removal and again preventing corrosion. As a bonus, the biodegradable formula will not harm the environment, naturally biodegrading, if any ever makes its way off your bike during riding, washing, or overhauls.

Rated 3 out of 5 by It's alright... Only used them on my pedals so far and I must say that I preferred the syn grease, I know that this is far more environmentally sound but is just a little too light for my liking. I want a thick grease, but as with most things, you find something you love, use it for years and then some marketing man takes it away from you 08 April 2010
