The Index DH glove is equipped with VPD knuckle protection. The VPD material is soft and adapts to the shape of the body, but when exposed to impact, the material stiffens and has extreme shock absorption properties. The palm is reinforced with silicon pads for a more pleasurable ride. Velcro adjustment at the cuff for better fit.

  • VPD 2.0 knuckle protection
  • Silicon Gel Palm protection
  • Grip patches for brake fingers
  • Adjustable cuff
  • Terry cloth patch
  • Durable synthetic suede on palm inside
  • Finger joint protection
  • Touch screen compatible

Rated 4 out of 5 by gloves The black synthetic suede on the palms offer a good amount of grip when you are bombing down a trail clinging on for your life . They offer a good amount of protection round the knuckles and on the palm for when the inevitable happens. One bad point - (I have them in orange) when you wash them, the black palm part dyes the white part slightly. Obviously this doesn't affect the performance, just makes them look a bit trampy after a while. 11 December 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality Gloves are comfortable and provide very good protection for palm and knuckles but the stitching is sub standard. My gloves have come completely apart at the wrists and the leather at the back of the thumb has a 2 inch tear up to the cuff. And all this for just 6 months of riding and without crashing. Gloves were returned for warranty refund. 2 thumbs down for the quality however 2 thumbs up for CRC's handling of the situation. 19 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect!! Super comfortable!! Great quality and materials which 100% justify their high price. Another top-class product from POC!!! Highly recommended!!! 19 June 2012

Just wondering wether this would replace my old 661 long finger ventilated summer gloves or wether they are more focused on winter riding

Answer:
Whilst a lot of people would recommend this, none have mentioned anything about whether it would be more of a summer or winter glove.
Everyone seems to have more focus on the comfort and grip of the gloves.
Best thing would be to get them and try them on.
