Rated 5 out of 5 by Fx27 Efficient, well made and really cuts the wind
I used this jacket in Canadian fall and spring weather and has been very satisfied so far. I ride 20 km per day to commute in town and on the road in the weekends. I used it either with my work clothes and road gear and it works well. This jacket is well made, enough tight and really cut wind. With an under layer base, it makes the job from 15 to 0 degree, windy day or not. Great buy when in sale.

I was looking for a windproof jacket that would be bright enough to be seen but not make me look like a dayglo cycling gnome.
After a lot of searching, this caught my eye as it was not orange all over, but enough colour to be seen on the roads. It was a bit over my budget but after reading other reviews I was sold. Definitely better looking than the competition - I mountain bike as well as road bike and I could wear it for either without embarrassment.
My first worries were that as only the front panels were windproof, it might get a bit chilly. However, my inaugural ride was at 0 to -1 degree with a stiff breeze and it did the job admirably. It was nice and snug and, even better, I did not have to unzip the front during serious efforts uphill. I anticipate that on a warmer day, with fewer layers underneath it can keep the wind out without turning into a sauna.
It feels really well made and designed - the thumbholes prevent your wrists freezing, but pull a little under gloves.
Sizing is good too. I am a thin 6'5" and the XL had perfect length and a snug enough fit around my chest.
Definitely worth a punt.
