When we started Pro-Lite, we decided that testing was of prime importance. At that time, we did not have our own test machine, so we used the other recognised facilities used within the bicycle industry for our tests. We continue to use other sources so our customers have an independent validation of our products. Our testing programme is usually set at 2-3 times the highest industry standard. And on top of that, we now have our own machine so that we can perform our own tests, which mean our frames are produced to THE highest of standards without making compromises. Pro-Lite tubing – PBS – Power, Body & Soul; is made from 7046 alloy and is without compromise a superb material for super light frames delivering outstanding performance. Pro-Lite is the only company in the world who have been able to produce frames successfully using this material and with over 30000 frames having been sold to date we will continue to ensure we give you the best possible products. How to get from A to B as quickly as possible? Good question; a good answer: use a Pro-Lite time trial frame. Why? Because we have designed and developed many different frames for both national and professional teams around the world, who never seem to produce the same size of rider more than once. The point is that the average rider is not a paid professional and can't afford to have a so called custom frame builder spend 3 months to convince you that you should pay a small fortune, to have something made for you, that we all know is no faster than a frame using race proven geometry at fraction of the price. Linked to the fact we don’t just let anyone with a welding machine build out of Pro-Lite PBS tubing, we have created the time trial frame that are designed for the serious racer who wants to get from A to B as quickly as possible. Rated 5 out of 5 by XF32 Stiff, fast, and very comfortable
I bought this as a frame to replace a made to measure steel TT frame that had seen better days. I paired it with a Planet X full carbon fork (£100) and the bits off my old bike, including Planet X 101/82 wheelset. It's stiff but very comfortable - there's no road buzz. Power transfer is excellent due to large tubes, particularly flattened seat stays, contributing to the stiffness meaning that acceleration is felt immediately. Even with standard kit (i.e. old school style bullhorn and TT bars) it's still very light.
A minor niggle is that the internally routed rear brake is not sleeved, and therefore some fiddling is required to get the brake cable out the other end. One solution is to use a magnet to guide the cable down the top tube (an old bike computer wheel magnet is enough) which was pretty straight forward in the end.
Having raced it for a season on dragstrip 10 and 25s and twisty evening league courses it handles very well and is very stable. All in all it's excellent value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous fantastic value
Fantastic value frame, bought this as a TT project and wasn't disappointed. Rigid and decent enough position even on the 49cm frame the headtube is nice and low. Have had this for 2 seasons and well happy with it in every way.
