Designed with the extreme gravity set in mind, the Atlas FR riser bar sets the standard. At 785mm, this is the widest bar we've ever produced. Perfect for intense FR or full on DH Race applications, the Atlas FR bar is available in a range of anodized colours.

  • Internal taper increases strength and durability without adding weight.
  • New ultra low and ultra wide riser geometry — reduces cockpit height to lower the front end (crown to axle height)

Answer: 
At 785mm, these bars are aimed at the downhill/ gravity disciplines. Those who rip aggressive trails at higher speeds are much more likely to benefit from a wider bar. Whereas slow-speed singletrack technicians will likely get tired of weaving a wide bar through tightly spaced trees. So think about the environments you like to ride in when considering the ‘wider is better’ approach.
