Race Face Atlas 35 Stem

The Atlas 35 stem was designed to reduce overall system weight while retaining the proven stiffness and performance the Atlas line is known for. The stem itself is measurably stiffer than the 31.8mm offering and, although the system is a seemingly burlier build, the weight savings gained by the reduction in bar material actually makes the 35 system lighter overall. An impressively light, strong addition to your aggressive trail or DH/FR build.

Comes with a Race Face 5 Year Warranty

Features:

  • 6061-T6 aluminum.
  • Four bolt bar clamp holds bar securely in position.
  • Interlocking U-Shaped Handlebar Clamp Geometry.
  • Faceplate eliminates stress risers which cause your bar to bend or break.
  • Opposing bolts on steer tube clamp provides extreme clamping power while reducing stress on the steer tube.
  • Laser etched logos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by solid The Altas 50mm was used to shorten up the steering from my existing Thompson X4 65mm. With 760 wide Next carbon 35 bars it makes for an impressive cockpit. I've found the steering to be a little quicker on the technical climbs - however going down it is so much smoother and precise. Overall happy to lose a little climbing performance. The bolt arrangement is great, you can really sense it snug up around the steerer when tightened. Good use of 5mm bolts too, rather than the 4mm on the Thompson. A little pricier than going the 31.8mm route, but 35 has always appealed to me. 27 June 2014
