Brought these pads about 9 months ago. Gone through a wet n muddy winter and hot summer in them.
During this time I've fallen off in them about 5 times. On each occasion they definitely saved my knees. As I stood up the pads were covered in dirt, I'm thinking must of hurt myself but underneath not a mark or bruise on my knees. Great protection.
The pads are lasting very well. Hardly a mark on them, the lining has started To bobble a bit from washing them but not effecting comfort. The pads have great adjustment on them, take seconds to place on and off. The first time I wore them I got rubbing sores, this was user error due to over tightening. Now I've got use to them, no sores no movement, just very comfy. Although cause a bit a heat and sweating nothing to worry about.
Great pads, still look new lasting very well!

Great leg armour but expensive . Only fault is shin guard is way to short , have the scars to prove it . New model says they are longer but size chart says the same length 11" they would need to be 4 or 5" longer

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stelios The best knee-shin pad combo
Once again I was impressed by Race Face quality ( i guess I'm a bit of a Race Face fanboy). I chose my size according to the Race Face sizing chart. On the first ride they felt too tight but after the second ride it was as if they magically adjusted to my legs. I don't know if it was the pads stretching to fit me or my body adapting but either way it is amazing.
I use them on all my rides. If there's a long uphill I keep them straped to my backpack but after I put them on for the trails I don't bother to remove them if an uphill section shows up. They're very comfortable and not too hot even at summer temperatures. Most importantly they just stay put and don't move even after a couple of hours of riding. They dont restrict pedaling as well. Being able to put them on and off without removing shoes is awesome too.
Fortunately I didn't have a chance to properly crash test them but if you've used D3O products before you'll know that you can trust them to save you in a bad fall.
All in all a great pad which I would recomend to anyone. Light enough for enduro/ AM use.

These pads are great. I rode with them on for a good few hours in the mud and snow, they were comfortable all day on both the uphill and downhill. They didnt feel restrictive and they didnt slip or need re-adjusting. After 10 minutes i forgot i was wearing them. The D30 padding is amazing its flexible and moves with your joints but its absolutely rock solid on impact. The knee coverage and length is good also. They are not cheap compared to others but they are well worth the investment.
I ordered M as suggested according to the size guide...but had to return for a L...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lucky13 A great set of durable, and comfortable knee pads
I have the previous years model, they were very comfortable, and they have saved my knees several times. I have not had any issues with them riding down as the previous reviewer has had issues with, of course like he said, "he has not found any knee pads that suit him," perhaps this is a individual issue for him. I plan to buy this years model for my wife soon. They are comfortable, and have good protection over the knee, and on the top of the shin, the 3D0 foam technology is awesome. I like these shin guards so much, I am leery to buy a different brand.

Once again I have found myself owning a pair of knee pads which do not protect your knees. If you bash the knee pads straight on, for example jumping onto your knees, they do the job. If you find yourself falling off while moving the pads ALWAYS ride down your shin and your knee still gets scraped. Something that happened to me for the third time since iv owned the pads. No matter how tight you do the straps this still happens. One plus though is that they are comfortable and they have a nice quality to them. This does not justify the price however. I am yet to find a set of knee shins that suit me.
