Rated 1 out of 5 by nofx007 Very poo padding quality
I ordered these in a medium as I wanted something I could wear on my weekend rides that would take a bit of a hit, but still be very comfortable. When wearing them they are very comfortable, however it is the quality of the D30 padding that is insanely poor.
These pads are targeted at the enduro market, so I would expect them to take some high temperatures during a long days ride. After a 2 hour medium pace XC ride, I took these off and the padding just disintegrated in the inside into lots of small pieces making them useless. CRC were great as always and sent a replacement pair at my request as I thought I just had a bad/faulty unit, they could not possibly be this bad! Second pair exactly the same story, very sad and annoyed as I believe raceface to be a top brand.
Going to return again and get some Troy Lee or POC pads I think.

When I first put these pads on, I was really pleased with how comfortable they are. The silicone strip holds the pads firmly in place, and the material is lightweight and "airy". However, I wore these in 30.C temperatures and the D30 material started to melt. By the end of the ride, sweat and heat had completely dismantled the internally padding and they became useless. Perhaps I'd recommend them for cooler climates, but I simply cannot recommend this product right now.
