Rated 5 out of 5 by Rhialto Light, mid-length carbon bars
The trend these days seems to be longer and longer bars. I have seen some that are 800mm wide! Compared to some of the newer bars, the RF Next carbon bars are pretty conservative at 725mm. But then again, it's only been a few years since bike manufacturers were spec'ing 660mm bars from the factory. I have a difficult time riding shorter bars - the bigger widths definitely make handling better for me. If you are concerned about moving up to wider bars, I would recommend you try them for a few rides. If you're anything like me, you will like them.
These bars are super light. I weighed mine and they came in at about 180g. But they are also much stiffer than the alloy bars they replaced. I could feel the alloy bars flex when I pulled on them to manual or climb over an obstacle. Not anymore with these carbon bars!
The styling is pretty subdued, with coloured accents on a matte black bar. If you want to pimp your bike, these are not the bars for that. Overall, I am very pleased with these bars so far. Light and strong but not the cheapest out there. Not the most expensive either though.
